I almost bought human parts for rituals – Gospel Artiste

Kojo Bentil
Like Saul on his way to Damascus to persecute Christians before God appeared to him, so has the lifestyle of most Gospel Musicians been.

Many Gospel Artistes before being saved by Christ lived lives that went contrary to the Bible.

One of such is Samuel Kojo Bentil, a former hip pop artiste who was known on the secular scene as Sammy Homes. Kojo Bentil as he’s affectionately called, told Andy Favoured, host of Gospel 360 on Accra FM that in his pursuit for money, he was once asked by a native doctor to buy and present to him (the native doctor) human parts for rituals in order to get quick money.

When Andy Favoured asked him what happened next, the shy looking urban Gospel singer who has a new single called “Papa” explained that when he went to the said native doctor for the rituals, he (native doctor) who claimed a stronger spirit had entered his shrine, took offence, sacked him from the shrine and said that was the end of his search for quick money. He averred that life became so unbearable until he became born again.

The Urban Gospel musician who is now a minister of God, who took his turn on the visitors seat on Accra 100.5 Fm’s Gospel 360 together with fellow Urban gospel artistes, Kingz Kid and Lil Zig admonished the youth to look up to Christ and desist from things of the world since they are vanity and nothing better comes out of them.
