Today marks the second day of their protest which saw them boycott work over the decision by government to privatize the state power distributor.
They embarked on the strike to compel government to modify the privatization plan for the power company.
National Secretary of the Senior Staff Association of ECG Patrick Binyame told Starr News the union will soon make their next line of action known.
“We have suspended our action because we need to get to that table with clean hands so we are going to listen to the Ministry on Wednesday and that meeting will inform our next line of action. All ECG operational areas, everybody is back at work,” he said.
