Two NPP Supporters Killed In Car Crash

Two supporters of the New Patriotic Party have reportedly died in a gory accident which occurred on the Adidome-Mafi Kumasi stretch of the Sogakope-Ho highway on Sunday.

The yet-to-be-identified persons, were on board a mini urvan-bus with other supporters, heading to Mafi-Kpedzeglo for the launch of the NPP’s campaign in the Central Tongu constituency of the Volta region, when the incident occurred.

According reports gathered by Kasapa News, the vehicle was overtaking a taxi cab, when it veered off the road and plunged into a ditch, killing the two supporters instantly with several others sustaining various degrees of injury.

A party source confirmed the incident to Kasapa News and said the injured persons were rushed to the Adidome Government hospital, where they are responding to treatment,while the deceased bodies have also been deposited at the morgue.

The source also indicated that, the incident has been reported to the police in the area, who have since commenced investigations.
