Lady Gaga protests outside Trump Tower following Donald Trump's win
Lady Gaga is adding hers to the wave of voices protesting Donald Trump’s stunning upset over Hillary Clinton during Tuesday night’s presidential election, though she’s taking things one step further: to the streets.

“I want to live in a #CountryOfKindness where #LoveTrumpsHate,” she tweeted alongside a photo of her hoisting the sign above her head from the side of a truck.
Before leaving Clinton headquarters in New York, Gaga posed for a picture with civil rights activist DeRay McKesson, which she posted to Instagram as a means to keep the faith as Clinton’s chances dwindled into the night.
Gaga hit the campaign trail with Clinton at a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina during the wee hours of Tuesday morning, performing a duet of the 1986 tune “Livin’ On A Prayer” alongside rocker Bon Jovi before launching into a solo performance of her own “Come to Mama,” which appears on her latest album, Joanne.
Over the weekend, Gaga also called out Trump’s wife, Melania, for a Nov. 3 speech she gave in which the Yugoslavia native called for an end to online bullying.
“To say u will stand for ‘anti-bullying’ is hypocrisy,” Gaga, who previously established the non-profit Born This Way Foundation, aimed at eradicating cyber bullying, tweeted Sunday. “Your husband is 1 of the most notorious bullies we have ever witnessed.”
