Woman forced to drag sick husband on hospital ramp after she was allegedly denied a stretcher (Photos&Video)

A footage has emerged which shows a woman pulling her sick husband on a hospital ramp at Government Regional Hospital in Guntakal, Anantapuramu district, India, after staff allegedly denied stretcher to carry him.

The alleged incident which took place on Friday morning has caused outrage in the media.
Local media reports claimed the hospital staff "denied" either a wheelchair or a stretcher to move the sick man to the first floor, forcing the helpless woman identified as Srivani to drag her husband all the way on the ramp to the emergency ward.

Inquiry conducted by Anantapuramu District Collector Kona Sasidhar, revealed a different story. According to them,  one Srinivasachari was brought to the hospital after he complained of abdominal pain. He was apparently having a wound on his left foot and was drunk when his wife Srivani brought him to the hospital.
Srinivasachari was working as a security guard in Hyderabad, and had returned home a few days ago, after falling…

Trump just took credit for stopping Ford from moving a plant to Mexico. But it wasn’t planning to.

President-elect Donald Trump claimed credit on Thursday for keeping a Ford plant in Kentucky from moving to Mexico. But the company never planned to move the entire plant, only one of its production lines.

Just got a call from my friend Bill Ford, Chairman of Ford, who advised me that he will be keeping the Lincoln plant in Kentucky - no Mexico — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 18, 2016
I worked hard with Bill Ford to keep the Lincoln plant in Kentucky. I owed it to the great State of Kentucky for their confidence in me! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 18, 2016  Ford has never announced any plans to move either its Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, which produces the Lincoln Navigator, or the Louisville Assembly Plant, which produces the Lincoln MKC, to Mexico.
In a statement on Thursday night, following Trump's tweet, the company said it had told Trump it would cancel a plan to shift production of a single model — the MKC — from Kentucky to Mexico. The…

GHC4m cheque not fake; I was just 'confused about recipient' - Woyome

Businessman Alfred Woyome has refuted claims by former Attorney General Martin Amidu that a GHC4million cheque he issued as part payment of the controversial GHS51.5million judgment debt, which he has been ordered by the Supreme Court to refund to the state, was a phoney cheque concocted by the government to hoodwink Ghanaians.
Speaking at a press conference on Friday, 18 November, Mr Woyome said: “…I don’t think I here, as a citizen, proud one of course, will try to play a prank on fellow Ghanaians. No, not at all! The so-called cheque was written by me. I made a cheque without writing who it’s meant for because I was confused as to who should be the recipient and after a meeting with the Attorney General in the presence of the Solicitor-General ….”

On Thursday, Mr Amidu said the Government of Ghana concocted the GHC4million part payment story and the cheque.

“Does the Ghana government believe us to be so easily fooled that they concoct Woyome part payments of the judgment de…

The performer also asked for people to "stop focusing on racism", saying: "This world is racist, okay. Let's stop being distracted to focus on that as much. We are in a racist country - period."

Paris Hilton Reveals She Voted for Donald Trump

Until now, Paris Hilton has kept her lips sealed about who she voted for in last Tuesday’s U.S. presidential election.
On Thursday, Hilton appeared in an Australian TV interview to promote her latest fragrance “Gold Rush.” When asked if she voted for President-elect Donald Trump in last week’s election, the hotel heiress laughed nervously before confirming the news.
“I’ve known him since [I was] a little girl — so, yes,” she said.

This is the first time Hilton has spoken out regarding the election results. Last week, she was approached by a TMZ reporter at Los Angeles International Airport and was asked who she planned to vote for. Though she revealed she did indeed cast her ballot, she refused to say who she voted for.
“My mother told me to never talk about politics or money,” Paris told TMZ.

This isn’t the first time Trump and Hilton have appeared in the headlines together. Earlier this year, a 2003 interview with Trump was uncovered in which he told Howard Stern that he first…

Japan PM: 'I have great confidence in Trump'

Japan's PM Shinzo Abe has said he has "great confidence" in US President-elect Donald Trump and he believes they can build a relationship of trust.
Mr Abe described the 90-minute meeting in Trump Tower, New York, as "candid", with a "warm atmosphere".
Some of Mr Trump's campaign rhetoric cast doubt over long-standing US alliances, including with Japan.
The meeting was Mr Trump's first face-to-face with a world leader since winning the presidential election.

The US and Japan have been key allies since the end of World War Two, when the US helped Japan rebuild its economy.
The president-elect has vowed to scrap the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, which Mr Abe strenuously supports as a means of countering China's growing economic strength.
The deal was approved by the Japanese parliament, despite the likelihood that the deal will be cancelled when Mr Trump takes office.
Mr Trump has also said Japan needs to pay more to maintain US troo…

65 Years After Their Parents Broke Them Up, Couple Finally Gets Married

Meddling parents kept them apart, but 65 years later Helen Andre and Davy Moakes finally made it down the aisle.
This time, it was Andre’s daughter, Debbie Williams, who stuck her nose in the British couple’s business.

After her mother was widowed for the third time, Williams went looking for Moakes, knowing her mom still carried a torch for the dapper man.

“They got to talking and rekindled their relationship and they fell madly in love,” Williams told the BBC. “I am so happy for them.”

In 1951, Andre and Moakes were supposed to get married. They were both in art school, and were crazy about each other.

But Andre’s parents did not think an artist made for a proper husband, and they ordered their daughter to call off the proceedings.

“It broke both their hearts, but in those days you did as you were told,” Williams said.

The two went on to marry other people. They both are now grandparents.

Andre, 82, and Moakes, 86, were married last week.

“If you love someone as much as we do, it nev…

Mahama launches Tema Port expansion project

MPS is a partnership between Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority and The Meridian Port Holdings (MPH), which is in turn a joint venture between APM Terminals of the Netherlands and Bolloré Transport & Logistics of France.

The launch of marine engineering works, marks the material start of the execution of a deed, signed between GPHA and MPS in June 2015 to substantially expand Tema Port, as a key component of GPHA’s master plan for the development of port infrastructure in this country.
The successful completion of this initiative is set to fundamentally change Ghana’s position in West Africa’s maritime industry by e…
