Akufo-Addo sacks all MMDCEs

All Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) across the country have been told by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to vacate their posts and step down from to their Coordinating Directors.

The directive was contained in a letter which avowed: By virtue of article 243 (3)(b) of the constitution of the republic, H.E the president of the republic has revoked the succession of all MMDCEs along in the middle of immediate effect. In this regard all MMDCEs are directed to hand subsequent to again their relevant duties to MMDCEs for subsidiary insinuation.

The letter as well as noted that subsidiary MMDCEs would be announced soon.

The commercial follows recent pressures mounted nearly the order of the MMDCEs who were appointed by the previous perspective to depart office behind the investiture of Nana Akufo-Addo as president upon January 7.
