Police nab ‘cab driver' who masterminded robbery of gold dealer

Police in Brong Ahafo Region have captured two people who were a piece of a posse that burglarized a gold merchant at gunpoint.

The thieves stole about GH¢50,000 from the gold merchant, Sumaila Ibrahim.

Wenchi Divisional Police Commander, ACP Peter Gyimah, said the thieves undermined to murder the gold merchant on the off chance that he declined to hand over the cash.

Sumaila Ibrahim is said to have boarded the taxicab that was being driven by 27-year-old Yaw Isaac from Wenchi making a beeline for Banda Nkwanta a mining group in the Boie - Bamboi District of the Northern Region.
