Many people are in agony today due to how they handled their tongue. One powerful instrument in the human body is the TONGUE. It can kill and rise. It can at the same time bless and curse. It can lift up and bring down. Many parents weep about their ward not progressing in life and sometimes relate it to the forces and spirits in this world being the cause of it, forgetting the one way or the other said an unsaid word upon the life of their ward, and that has taken authority over the ward's Life. 

 

The tongue can be bitter and can be tasty depending on the one handling it. Sometimes the problems of life that comes upon you is not as a result of anything but rather the kind of messages your tongue carries causes the calamity you might be facing. For instance, insulting or talking negatively about a man of God whom you claim he is not of God can bring unto you many curses even if you know that, that man of God is not of God, Don't make announcement about it. 

 

If God himself is commanding you to break that secret, then that is different but if it’s not, then It’s advisable you keep quiet. Accusation about someone can bring curses upon yourself especially when what you said really hurt the person and out of the pain cried or said something not bad but the moment it is said with pain, it can really cause a damage in you the accuser's life. 

 

One particular beings who cannot control their tongue are mothers. The least their ward does, they turn out to use the power of the tongue negatively by saying something like, "You will suffer". Mothers, don't forget the Bible said we are not fighting against flesh and blood instead we are fighting against principalities. And these principalities do not wish us good, so the moment such statement comes out your mouth, those principalities picks it up and use it to work against your ward.

 

Now in life, many people are suffering and due to that, accuse a grandmother or any person for it which may be as a result of what the mother said some time ago. The tongue is a powerful tool. You are shedding tears each day because you used your tongue wrongly, your destiny is being aborted because you exposed yourself with your tongue. At this point, if you are someone who can't control your tongue, learn how to do so before it puts you into danger. Also, if the illustration has given a kind of reflection in your life, All what you can do is, go down before God in prayer and use your tongue to proclaim goodness and mercy to follow your life from today. 

 

If your mother is alive and she in one way or the other cursed you, go to her, ask for forgiveness and she will proclaim blessing upon your life. If she is dead, then let your pastor pray with you and your life will never be the same. When it comes to issues of life related to the tongue say, NO, I will be the pattern of all patience; I will say nothing.
