It's another day, another restraining order for Chris Brown. Brown, who was ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran earlier this month after allegedly threatening to kill her, has now been ordered to stay away from Tran's best friend.
According to TheWrap, Tran's friend, Joseph Ryan La Cour, obtained a restraining order against Brown last week, after the R&B singer allegedly made "multiple threats" to La Cour.
According to the request for the restraining order, Brown has threatened La Cour at close range, and also encouraged associates to threaten La Cour.
At one point, "Mr. Brown stated that no matter where we go he will find us and shoot the place up," La Cour states in the restraining order request.
According to La Cour, Brown has shown up unannounced to make threats and cause a scene several times.
In one instance in February, La Cour said, Brown showed up at a Super Bowl party and told him, "It's 2017, I'ma f-ck you up every time I see you" and "you better get the f-ck out of here before I lay your ass out."
"I have done nothing to Chris for him to act this way with me," La Cour stated in the restraining order request. "He is simply obsessed with Karrueche Tran and willing to hurt anyone that is friends with her if he cannot have her back."
Brown has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards from La Cour.
This is just the latest legal complication for Brown. In court papers filed by Karrueche Tran on Feb. 17, the aspiring model claimed that Brown "threatened to kill" her earlier this month.
Tran also claims that Brown has physically abused her, punching her twice in the stomach and pushing her down stairs.
"He said if no one else can have me, then he's gonna 'take me out,'" Tran claimed. The singer has likewise been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Tran.
