Kim Kardashian Visits Children's Hospital LA to Kick Off Make March Matter Campaign

According to ETonline, the 36-year-old reality star paid a visit to Children's Hospital Los Angeles on Wednesday to kick off the second annual Make March Matter campaign.

Throughout her visit, Kim met with former CHLA patients, 14-year-old Grace Rose and 6-year-old Saylor Pierson, and spoke out about how she holds the non-profit close to her heart.

"This hospital is really important to me," she said in a statement. "I've actually had friends that have had their babies here, and I've spent weeks on end with them visiting them."

"My family and I always love to come here, and throughout the year try to pop in and put a smile on the kids' faces, or more importantly, the families that are struggling so hard to still work and take care of them and not wanting to leave their children by themselves," she continued. "So anything we can do and my family can do, we love being a part of this community and helping out. So I am here today just to help spread that word and hope everyone gets involved in the Make March Matter campaign."

The mother of two later took to Twitter to raise awareness for the campaign.

"Spent the morning at the Children's Hospital CHLA launching the campaign for Make March Matter. For more info go to http://MakeMarchMatter.org," she wrote.
