Bow Wow Caught Flying Commercial After Sharing Private Jet Photo -- See All the Hilarious Responses!

Rapper Bow Wow -- real name Shad Moss -- was caught engaging in a little social media deception this week, after sharing a photo to Instagram that made it appear he was flying to New York on a private jet. 

"Travel day. NYC press run for Growing Up Hip Hop. Lets gooo. I promise to bring yall the hottest show EVER," the 30-year-old actor captioned the pic. 


 Which is when one perceptive Snapchatter was surprised to find the artist sitting ahead of him on a commercial flight. The discrepancy was then tweeted out, with the caption, "Bow Wow on IG vs Bow Wow in real life 😂," and quickly the internet phenomenon took on a life of its own.

What resulted is the #BowWowChallenge, which is two parts trolling but also one part solidarity, where Twitter users have started sharing side by side photos of themselves appearing to stunt, and then coming clean in devastatingly hilarious ways. 

From washing the luxury (toy) whip....

 To being live from a sporting event (on your TV screen).

 "Stuck in traffic in my Lexus 😅," one person tweeted, with the "Lexus" actually being a magazine ad....

What we really learned is how incredible we all are at photographic deception -- like this guy, who was able to make a bus seat look like a steering wheel in his new car. 

 Or this dude, who had a little less liquor than he let on...

Basically, this is just another confirmation that sometimes, the internet is a truly magical place. 

Bow Wow has yet to respond to the #BowWowChallenge, but if we might offer him some unsolicited PR advice -- consider owning up to the call out, and getting in on the phone.
