With today being the Black Women's Equal Pay Day, Pregnant Tennis star, Serena Williams took to her social media accounts to advocate for equal pay for Black women.

According to her, 'July 31 is Black Women's Equal Pay Day, which represents the number of days into 2017 a black woman must work to earn the same pay a white man made in 2016 — that's nearly 8 extra months! Black women are the cornerstone of our communities, they are phenomenal, and they deserve equal pay.'

Police in Malawi have issued an arrest warrant for former President Joyce Banda over a corruption scandal, known as cash-gate, during her time in office.

In issuing the arrest warrant for ex-President Joyce Banda, Malawi's police said they have "unearthed credible evidence" in connection with the $250m (£190m) cashgate corruption scandal which "raises reasonable suspicion that the former president committed offences relating to abuse of office and money laundering".

12 inmates make Alabama jailbreak

Twelve inmates escaped from a jail in Alabama, authorities said on Sunday, and six still remain at large, including two who were incarcerated on charges including attempted murder.

According to Reuters, the inmates escaped from the Walker County Jail, the county sheriff's office said on its official Facebook page. No details on when or how the escape occurred were available.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that 755 staff must leave US diplomatic missions, in retaliation for new US sanctions against Moscow.

The decision to expel staff was made on Friday, but Mr Putin has now confirmed the number who must go by 1 September.

Ms Rossi said no political disagreement could justify violence
A man has been arrested after punching a female MP from President Emmanuel Macron's party in the head in a southern Paris suburb.

Laurianne Rossi, 33, was confronted by the man as she distributed leaflets in Bagneux market.

He expressed anger at Macron government policy before punching her in the right temple, Ms Rossi told local media.

2 Dead, 4 Injured After Iraqi Gunman Opens Fire In A Nightclub In Germany

A 34-year-old gunman of Iraqi origin opened fire in a packed nightclub in the southern German city of Konstanz on Sunday, July 30th, killing one person and injuring four others.

The suspect was fatally wounded in a gunfight with police officers outside the music venue after they had rushed to the scene shortly after the incident. He died later in hospital.

Teenage Security Guard Accused Of Stealing $100,000 On His First Day At New Job

A teenage security guard allegedly made quite the impression at work. Larry Brooks is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a New Jersey vault and transportation company Tuesday (July 25), during his first day on the job.

Brooks, 19, faces second degree theft charges after security officials from Guarda claimed that he swiped $100,000 in cash, the Fairfield Police Department announced Thursday.

Qatar has accused Saudi Arabia of politicising the Hajj, claiming Riyadh has imposed restrictions on Qatari nationals planning to travel to Mecca for the annual Muslim pilgrimage.

Qatar's National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) said on Saturday that Qatari citizens have been told they can only enter Saudi Arabia through two airports, and that they must travel via Doha to be allowed in.

Man Punches Woman In The Face During Road Rage Incident

A road rage incident between a man and a woman was caught on tape. The video shows an Australian man punching a woman in the face following an altercation on the road.

According to the peron who filmed the incident, it happened at Lake Munmorah in New South Wales, Australia between 1 pm - 1:30 pm on Monday. Witnesses report that the woman was seen throwing things at the man's car from her car. Some said she threw nails. So the man walked up to her and punched her hard in the face.

Local reports said assailants overpowered a police officer at the gate and entered the compound. 

Gunfire has continued at the house, which is surrounded by police.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said the second flight test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) demonstrated that his country can hit the US mainland.

Hic comments came hours after the launch which left analysts concluding that a wide swath of the US, including Los Angeles and Chicago, is now in range of North Korean weapons.

“Village Sex” is an adaption of a traditional wedding song from Wiyaala’s village telling of a young bridegroom who is being teased by the women because he is can think of nothing but consumating the marriage on his wedding night. The original meaning of the song is to encourage young bachelors to marry before they have sex as tradition demands.
