An unidentified stuntwoman died on the set of Deadpool 2 in Vancouver, Canada on Monday after her
motorcycle crashed during filming, local authorities confirmed.
“Vancouver Police can confirm that a female stunt driver has died on the set
of Deadpool during a stunt on a motorcycle,” the department said in a

A spokesperson for 20th Century Fox issued the following statement:
“We are deeply saddened by the accident that occurred on the set of Deadpool 2
this morning. Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends, and
colleagues of our crew member during this difficult time.”
Details are still emerging regarding the incident. However, bystanders told Vancouver affiliate CTV News
that the stunt was shot at Jack Poole Plaza when the vehicle crashed
through the window of Shaw Tower. The driver is thought to be the stunt
double for Zazie Beetz. A woman donning the costume for the mutant Domino was spotted on a black Ducati motorcycle in the area for a sequence days earlier.
CTV
reporter Ben Miljure posted images from the scene to social media,
noting the stuntwoman was loaded into an Advanced Life Support ambulance
after the incident.

The film is scheduled for release on June 1, 2018.
