Beyoncé and JAY-Z caught in legal drama over pool
Beyoncé and JAY-Z's multi-million dollar Bel Air mega-mansion is causing
quite the splash for the superstars.
The power couple bought the massive estate only last month — but in doing so,
the pair waded into a five-figure spat over the installation of the property's
fourth pool.
Pool & Spa Builders reportedly had an agreement with the property's previous owners, Cuesta Estate LLC, to plunk down a $454,000 infinity pool and spa, according to The Blast, because three pools just didn't cut it.
But the company claims Cuesta refused to pay their $87,729.92 bill, and in response, have filed a construction lien on the property and may attempt to force it into foreclosure.
The pool problems come after Beyoncé and JAY-Z paid a whopping $88 million for the home, which, according to the Los Angeles Times, was the highest recorded sale this year in Los Angeles County.
