Model murders boyfriend's son, 7, and the dead child's father goes back to his killer girlfriend

A popular Instagram model fatally shot her boyfriend's 7-year-old son, and the boyfriend tried to escape with her.

27-year-old Brooke Ashley Craig was arrested on Dec 29 and charged with child murder for shooting 7-year-old Kaden Green?, in Greenville, Texas?.

Police believe that the boy’s father, 24-year-old Cameron Rafael Castillo, had gotten into an argument with his girlfriend Brooke on Thursday, Dec 28. During the argument, Brooke walked out of the house and fired gunshots at her boyfriend’s car. Kaden, happened to be in the car and he was hit. A witness quickly took him to the hospital where he later died from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Authorities in Greenville were called out to a home in the 4000 block of Pickett Street in Greenville at about 4:45 p.m. in reference to a disturbance but when they arrived, they found nothing. Officers were then told that a child had been taken to a Hunt Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound.

Around 2:45 a.m. on Friday, McKinney police received an alert from Greenville officers to be on the lookout for Brooke. McKinney officers spotted her car leaving a Walgreen's at Hardin Boulevard and Eldorado Parkway and chased it west through several Frisco neighborhoods along Panther Creek, police said.

When police eventually caught up with Brooke, they found Castillo in the passengers seat, trying to get away with her. Brooke faces charges of capital murder and evading arrest, while Castillo faces a parole violation and a drug-dealing charge.
