Over 40 SMEs Benefit From Vodafone CEIBS Masterclass Programme

Fourty-seven Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME) owners who participated in the maiden edition of Vodafone’s China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) Masterclass programme have graduated at a colourful ceremony held in Accra.

The 3-months programme exposed participants to key business and corporate insights, and took them through key modules including Corporate Governance, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Growth, Financial Management and Social Media.

One of the participants, Dr. Henrietta Dordor, described the course as “priceless” as she shared her experience.  She said:

 “On behalf of my colleagues I wish to say a big thank you to Vodafone Business Solutions for granting us the rare opportunity to learn so much in three months. In fact, we cannot quantify what we have learned at CEIBS. The course is priceless!”

“Personally, I am already reaping benefits from this course as more people are turning to my clinic due to my online activity now. The digital courses especially have opened my eyes to how much I can maximise my business” she added.

The Director of CIEBS Africa, Prof. Matthew Tsamenyi expressed satisfaction with the experience and Vodafone’s support. He described the graduating class as excellent model students considering that they were the first beneficiaries of this programme. He commended them for their drive and commitment to the course.

The Director of Vodafone Business Solutions, Angela Mensah-Poku congratulated the graduating class on their achievement;

“Vodafone is delighted to share in your joy. We are certain that you can only get to the next level in your business after this session. We wish you all the best as you succeed and Vodafone will be there to grow with you.”

The Vodafone CEIBS Masterclass programme is a collaboration between Vodafone Ghana and CEIBS to offer world class training to Small and Medium Enterprises in a digital age. The Scholarship, fully funded by Vodafone Ghana, is part of the company’s contribution to developing the capacity of SMEs in Ghana.
