Stolen baby found alive in South Carolina 18 years on

A girl stolen as a newborn from a hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, has been found alive in South Carolina after more than 18 years, police say.
Kamiyah Mobley, who was abducted in July 1998, was found after a tip.
Authorities in Walterboro, South Carolina, have charged Gloria Williams, 51, with kidnapping.
Ms Mobley was living under another name and believed Ms Williams to be her mother. The biological family have been notified of the news.
Jacksonville Sherriff's Office said DNA tests had confirmed Ms Mobley's identity.
She appeared in good health, a "normal 18-year-old woman", it said.
The office said it had acted on 2,500 tips since the abduction and received one last year to @MissingKids that eventually broke the case.
It showed the original composite images released at the time of the kidnapping, along with a photograph of Ms Williams, who was arrested at her home on Friday morning.

Beyonce is nominated for five NME Awards with The 1975 and Skepta up for four

Beyonce tops the nominations for this year's NME Awards. She's up for five prizes including best international female, album, video, music moment of the year and hero of the year.
The 1975, Bastille, Christine And The Queens and Skepta all have four nominations while Wolf Alice, Kanye West and Adele have three each.
The winners will be announced on Wednesday 15 February at London's Brixton Academy.
All the categories are voted for by the public.

New York boy, 12, 'demands chicken nugget at gunpoint'

A 12-year-old boy is accused of pulling a gun on a girl and demanding one of her chicken nuggets, New York police say.
They say he asked for a nugget in a McDonald's fast food outlet in Harlem on Tuesday.
When she refused, he is then alleged to have followed her to a nearby subway station and held the gun to her head.
She pushed the gun away and boarded the train, and he was later taken into custody, police say.
The New York Police Department says the gun has not been found, and it remains unclear whether it was real or a replica.
They say the boy was released on Thursday, and the case has been referred to the family courts.

AFCON 2017: Black Stars trip to Gabon cancelled due to bad weather

The Ghana Football Association has confirmed that Black Stars trip to Gabon from the United Arab Emirates has been cancelled due to bad weather.
The team was scheduled to leave the Asian for Gabon on Friday afternoon ahead of their group opener against Uganda on Tuesday January 17, 2017.
Per the CAF rules, teams should arrive in host nation four days before their first match.

R. Kelly Denies Trump Inauguration Gig as 'Simply Untrue'

The list of artists not planning to play Donald Trump's inauguration continues to grow much longer than those who have officially signed up. The latest to shoot down rumors of an inaugural gig is R. Kelly, who tweeted on Thursday night (Jan. 12) that it is "simply untrue" that he'll suit up for the New York real estate mogul's big day next week.
The post entitled, "End.Of.Story" features the statement in a large yellow box with the important denials in bolded red and Kelly explaining that "Despite the rumors circulating online, R. Kelly will not be performing at this years inauguration ceremony."

Two months after a similar occurrence happened in Kenya, another married woman and her lover got stuck in bed after her husband had consulted a witch-doctor for a charm.

According to Tuko News, the adulterous couple from Kisii region of Kenya were recently nabbed at a hotel, where they were committing the act.

In the video below, they were carried on the back of a pick-up truck and taken around town where residents could hear them crying in pains.

Cocobod’s Opuni Sacked

President Nana Akufo-Addo has directed the Chief Executive of the Cocobod Dr. Stephen Opuni to vacate post not later than 5:00pm Friday, January 13, 2017.
The directive is contained in a letter dated January 12 2017 and signed by the Executive Secretary to the President, Nana Asante Bediatuo.
The directive, the letter said, is pursuant to section 14(1) of the Presidential (Transition) Act, 2012 (Act 845).
“In view of the urgency attached to this matter, please ensure that you hand over and cease to act as Chief Executive of Ghana Board not later than 5:00pm on January 13, 2017,” the letter said.
The directive is part of the president’s effort to constitute his government and deliver on the promises made during the campaign.
Dr Opuni was appointed Chief Executive of Ghana COCOBOD on 30th November, 2013.
He was the Chief Executive of the Ghana Food and Drugs Authority from April 2009 until the end of November, 2013.

According to Turkish state news agency Anadolu, 'the fight broke out on Wednesday shortly after opposition lawmaker Özgür Özel told ruling party lawmakers "You are trying to destroy yourselves when the TV is off and nobody sees. We won't let it happen'.

Fire razes down 9-bedroom house at Assin Fosu

Fire has gutted a nine bedroom quarters at Assin Fosu in the Central Region.

The incident occurred Thursday evening.

Fire personnel who got to the scene rather  furthermore could lead tiny to salvage the have an effect on.

The cause of the outbreak is yet unspecified,  but it is suspected to be gas leakage,  as the domicile uses  gas stove in baking bread.

 The fire service has begun investigations into incident.

Husband Allegedly Poses as Wife in Facebook Messages to Cover Up Murdering Her

An Orlando man allegedly tried to cover up his wife’s murder by posing as her and posting messages on her Facebook page to make it look like she was still alive, PEOPLE confirms.
After allegedly strangling 30-year-old wife Kristen McShane, George Joseph McShane, 42, posted the messages so family and friends would not become alarmed when the mother-of-two failed to return their calls or text messages, according to an arrest report obtained by PEOPLE.
On Jan. 7, George McShane, who lists himself as “single” on his Facebook page, allegedly wrote on his wife’s wall: “I can’t believe I dropped my phone in the toilet. I’m such an idiot. Message me here, til I can get it fixed.”
He told detectives he also sent messages to her family and friends to convince them that she was still alive, according to the report.
On Tuesday, three days after the posts, police arrested him on charges of domestic battery by strangulation and second-degree murder, according to the arrest report.
