Video: Whoopi Goldberg Burns Ben Carson’s ‘Immigrants’ on ‘Slave Ships’ Comments

During a speech on Monday, the Trump administration’s secretary of housing and urban development declared, “There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less,” adding, “They too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great grandsons, great granddaughters might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.”
“Were the slaves really thinking about the American dream?” Goldberg asked, incredulously on The View Tuesday morning, live from Walt Disney World. “No, because they were thinking, ‘What the hell just happened?!’” Immigrants, she explained to Carson, travel somewhere in search of a “better life.”

As Joy Behar added, “And it’s usually voluntary.” She also noted that Carson must not think slavery was all that bad because he also once compared it to Obamacare.

“I’m making jokes about it because I can’t believe—” Goldberg said, unable to finish the sentence. “I mean, am I crazy?&qu…

A White House tour group got a huge surprise Tuesday morning as President Donald Trump himself made an appearance.
The tour group, including many young children, cheered and screamed as the President popped out from behind a room divider.

"Work hard, everybody, work hard," he said, standing in front of a portrait of former first lady Hillary Clinton.

Trump waved to the group as he walked away.

In 2013, she spelt out her ideal man in one of her hit songs – Rock My Body- and four years on, it appears the eccentric songstress, Noella Wiyaala, who is considered a tomboy, has found her perfect match.

The musician, who is hardly seen in public with any man apart from her manager, John Sherren, has over the years been rumoured to be dating her British manager.

When asked on Onua FM’s entertainment show, Anigye Mmr3, to set the record straight on whether the two have something going on between them, Wiyaala responded with a line of that hit track: “…if he is ugly, if he is old, if he is young, I don’t mind. He is a nice man, I like to date him.” Her heartwarming response touched the panelist on the show and triggered spontaneous applause from them but Wiyaala did not end there as she threw the question back at her manager.

Wiyaala: Would you like to date me John?

John: I have always wanted it to be a mutually beneficial relationship

Ezekiel said he reported the incident at Eldoret police station, adding that police have not taken any action.

'They seem to be reluctant. They told me to go away and that they would …

President of Zimbabwe Robert Mugabe says President Nana Akufo-Addo delivered a 'deep' speech when he spoke at Ghana's 60th Independence Day parade held last Monday.

The 93-year-old leader said the speech had undertones of a President who finds a lot of inspiration from Ghana's first president Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Ghana's 5th President, Nana Akufo-Addo at the 60th-anniversary parade in Accra dedicated at least six pages to run through Ghana's struggle for independence.

The 73-year-old president was particular to renew the limelight on the efforts of the likes of John Mensah Sarbah, Joseph Casely Hayford, J.W. Sey, J.P Brown.
He eulogised two market women Dede Ashikisham and Akua Shorshorshor, famous market queens, who financed Kwame Nkrumah and the nationalist movement from their successful businesses.

Annie~Joy writes: Your Tongue Can Be The Tail Of Your Problems. Be Inspired!

Many people are in agony today due to how they handled their tongue. One powerful instrument in the human body is the TONGUE. It can kill and rise. It can at the same time bless and curse. It can lift up and bring down. Many parents weep about their ward not progressing in life and sometimes relate it to the forces and spirits in this world being the cause of it, forgetting the one way or the other said an unsaid word upon the life of their ward, and that has taken authority over the ward's Life.  The tongue can be bitter and can be tasty depending on the one handling it. Sometimes the problems of life that comes upon you is not as a result of anything but rather the kind of messages your tongue carries causes the calamity you might be facing. For instance, insulting or talking negatively about a man of God whom you claim he is not of God can bring unto you many curses even if you know that, that man of God is not of God, Don't make announcement about it.  If God h…

The Car Notorious B.I.G. Was Killed In Up For Auction for $1.5 Million

According to SPIN, the 1997 GMC Suburban that the Notorious B.I.G. got shot in is now being sold for $1.5 million. The sale was announced a week after the BMW that West Coast rival Tupac Shakur was shot in went on sale for the same price. Both cars are being sold by memorabilia dealer Moments in Time.
That GMC Suburban was previously sold at a 1997 public auction to a woman who had no idea about its infamy, according to TMZ. The passenger door was replaced after police took the bullet-riddled original in for investigation. So, the only remaining evidence of Biggie’s murder was the bullet hole in the seatbelt.
The buyer bought the vehicle for her family of six, and she didn’t find out about its history until 2005—the same year Biggie’s last posthumous album dropped.

Kim Jong-nam death: Malaysia and N Korea in tit-for-tax exit bans

North Korea and Malaysia have banned each other's citizens from leaving their countries, in a growing row over the killing of Kim Jong-nam.
The extraordinary tit-for-tat actions come amid North Korean fury at Malaysia's ongoing investigation into his death at a Kuala Lumpur airport.
The North Korean leader's half-brother was killed with a potent nerve agent.
Malaysia has not directly blamed the North for this, but there is widespread suspicion Pyongyang was responsible.
North Korea has fiercely denied any accusations of culpability and the row over the killing - and who has the right to claim Mr Kim's body - has rapidly escalated over the past two weeks.
Both Malaysia and North Korea have already expelled each other's ambassadors.

What was North Korea's announcement?
The state news agency KCNA said on Tuesday that "all Malaysian nationals in the DPRK [Democratic People's Republic of Korea] will be temporarily prohibited from leaving the country un…

Satao, one of the last 'giant tusker' elephants, killed in Kenya

A rare African elephant - one of the continent's oldest and largest - died in a suspected poaching incident, a conservation group has said.
Satao II, a 50-year-old so-called "giant tusker" was found dead near the Tsavo National Park border.
Conservationists at the park believe he may have been killed be a poison arrow, although the cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
Satao was named after another giant tusker killed by poachers in 2014.
There are now fewer than 30 African "big tuskers" - adult bulls with ivory large enough to brush the ground - in the world.
"I am pretty gutted really," Richard Moller, head of the Tsavo Trust, told AFP.
"This particular elephant was one that was very approachable, one of those easy old boys to find. Many are the others are much more difficult to see.
"He has been through lots of droughts and probably other attempts at poaching."
