The world's biggest dinosaur footprint has been discovered in northwestern Australia, measuring at nearly 5 feet 9 inches (1.75 meters), the lead author of a study said.

That footprint, found in Bolivia, was the biggest ever from a carnivorous dinosaur. "The giant footprints are no doubt spectacular," Steve Salisbury, the lead author of the study and a professor at the University of Queensland, told CNN of the record-setting fossil. "There's nothing that comes close (to this length)."  But the footprint was just one of a series of amazing finds in an area Salisbury dubbed "Australia's Jurassic Park."  Twenty-one different dinosaur tracks were discovered across the Dampier Peninsula in the unprecedented" find, the University of Queensland said in a news release, with some rocks as old as 140 …

Massive gold coin worth millions stolen from German museum

According to Associated Press, Berlin police say thieves broke into the German capital's Bode Museum and made off with a massive 100-kilogram (221-pound) gold coin worth millions. Spokesman Stefen Petersen said thieves apparently entered through a window about 3:30 a.m. Monday, broke into a cabinet where the "Big Maple Leaf" coin was kept, and escaped with it before police arrived.
A ladder was found by nearby railway tracks.

The three-centimeter (1.18-inch) thick coin, with a diameter of 53 centimeters (20.9 inches), has a face value of $1 million. By weight alone, however, it would be worth almost $4.5 million at market prices.

The museum says the coin is in the Guinness Book of Records for its purity of 999.99/1000 gold. It has a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on one side and maple leaves on the other.

Annie~Joy writes: The Timetables.. Be Inspired!!

Normally, a journey without a map makes it difficult to locate where you are going to. Just as an institution, without a timetable, becomes disorganized. Believe your life also has timetables attached to it. Since you are special, you have timetables not a timetable.  Google search defines Timetable as "a plan of things that need to be done and the times they will be done". The Moment sperms swim towards a fertile ovary to produce you as the outcome, there are three timetables that are made on your behalf.  First, the plan you make for your life and the need for them to be done. Secondly, GOD's plan for your life which I have named it DIVINE, and thirdly, that being against your life. Someone will call it Devil. Let me proceed, you want all your needs met while God wants all His purposes done and the AGAINST BEING wants your break down. Some people are ahead in life because of the timing on their timetables. With the first two timetables considered, the secon…

Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminates Facebook Troll Over Special Olympics Comment

Arnold Schwarzenegger is in his home country of Austria this week for the Special Olympics World Games, and he posted a Facebook video Thursday with some of the competitors talking about how he's inspired by them. But not all of his Facebook followers, apparently, got the same inspiration.
According TheWrap, In response to the video, one commenter wrote that the "Special Olympics make no sense," before using a derogatory term for mentally-challenged people. But instead of simply deleting the post, Schwarzenegger decided to fight back in a much more visible -- and brutal -- way.
Here's Schwarzenegger's termination in full:
"As evil and stupid as this comment is, I'm not going to delete it or ban you (yet) because it's a teachable moment.
You have two possible paths ahead. Right now, I guarantee you that these athletes have more courage, compassion, brains and skill -- actually more of every positive human quality than you.
So take their path --…

South Sudan ambush leaves six aid workers dead, UN says

Six aid workers have been killed in an ambush in South Sudan, the UN says, in the deadliest single incident for humanitarians since the country's civil war began.
The "heinous murder" occurred on Saturday, said Eugene Owusu, the UN's humanitarian chief in South Sudan.
The UN did not say who the victims were or what aid agency they worked for.
They were traveling between Juba, the capital, and the town of Pibor.
At least 79 aid workers have been killed in South Sudan since the conflict started in December 2013, the UN says.
"These attacks against aid workers and aid assets are utterly reprehensible," said Mr Owusu. "They not only put the lives of aid workers at risk, they also threaten the lives of thousands of South Sudanese who rely on our assistance for their survival."
He called on "all those in positions of power" to stop such attacks and end "the impunity that has prevailed".
Two other attacks have targeted aid workers t…

South Korea seeks arrest of ex-president Park Geun-hye

South Korean prosecutors have applied for an arrest warrant for former president Park Geun-hye, for her role in a corruption scandal.
Earlier this month, she lost her presidential immunity and was dismissed from her post when the constitutional court upheld a decision by parliament to impeach her.
Ms Park is accused of allowing her close friend Choi Soon-sil to allegedly extort money from big firms.
Ms Park has denied the allegations.
The former president apologised to the public last week, before being questioning by authorities for 14 hours.
"The case is very grave as the suspect has demonstrated acts of abuse of power by making companies give money and infringing on the freedom of corporate management by using powerful position and authority as president," prosecutors said in a statement on Monday.

The prosecutors argue that evidence like computer hard drives might be destroyed if Ms Park is not arrested, the BBC's Stephen Evans in Seoul says.

Dubai enters Guinness World Records for having the world's fastest police cars

The Dubai police force has just been presented with a certificate by Guinness World Records for having the world's fastest police car in service -- a Bugatti Veyron -- just one of its 14-strong fleet of supercars.
The police fleet includes a bespoke Aston Martin One-77, of which only 77 were ever built, a Bentley Continental GT, three hybrid Porsche Panameras and two BMW i8s.

The previous record holder belonged to the Italian police force with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, which has a top speed of 230 mph (370 km/h).
But Dubai's police superfleet isn't used for high-speed chases down Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, or very many police duties at all for that matter. Instead, the cars cruise around the Dubai Mall area and Jumeirah Beach Residence in search of tourists and attention.

And guess what? You can hail a police car and snap a selfie with the driver in Dubai.
