Here’s A Gist Of What You Should Expect At 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Red Carpet

Who are you wearing? Who made this? You have a lovely dress. Your suit is cut to fit. Your make up is great. Wooow, your shoes are beautiful, what brand is it? I could go on-and-on and-on to remember some of the basic questions that are usually asked on the red carpet of the VGMAs.

Over the years, Red Carpet Experience has been an integral part of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ; The Glitz, the Glamour, the Look and the Feel, all add up to the ever  anticipated  Music Awards Nite. Count Down to the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has already started and I bet many are still deciding on shoes, clothes and Make up , just to  Rock the Red Carpet.

Last year Celebrities did all they could to beat time to make it on the red carpet. But alas! lateness set in and many a celebrity missed their chance to shine on the RED CARPET. Many could not make it on time although it was advertised to start from 7pm to 8pm.  By 8: pm, Berla Mundi had started wrapping up her interesting interviews o…

Cristiano Ronaldo bust draws mirth after Madeira airport unveiling

Cristiano Ronaldo has the looks, the medals and the money. And now even an airport -- in Madeira, where he was born -- has been renamed in his honor, with a new bust to boot also unveiled Wednesday of the Real Madrid star.
Eight months after the four-time world player of year held the Euro 2016 trophy aloft after Portugal's 1-0 win over France in Paris, the Aeroporto da Madeira in Funcal is now the "Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport."

If Ronaldo is now an airport, it was his visage on the bust that arguably stole the show -- at least on social media.
BBC presenter Dan Walker remarked the bust's appearance bore a striking resemblance to the former Republic of Ireland international striker Niall Quinn. Other wags opined the bust's image was more like ex-Liverpool Norwegian international defender John Arne Riise. When you send the statue guy a picture of Niall Quinn instead of Cristiano Ronaldo #Awkward 😂 pic.twitter.com/0VR8qPskVF — Dan Walker (@mrdanwa…

Annie~Joy writes: There Is Fear In Loving• The Ladies Reports. Part 2 #BeInspired

Young lady try and know certain facts about you and don't avail yourself to be harmed. What you are in is DATING and not marriage. Get smart and wise up. Dating should help you gain self-confidence. The gentleman doesn't own you yet because there is no bond. Why do you hear him when he screams for SEX? Do you know when the pride is lost, it can't be restored even when it’s secondary as some say?
It becomes so when you got hurt and have decided not to give in again so your vital part becomes a little closed. Then it is termed as SECONDARY VIRGINITY. It could have been better if you keep it than giving it in your dating stage. It hurts when there is a post on social media which says, give one word for your ex-boyfriend and you see ladies insulting. It baffles me a lot. Dating is to learn how to become independent.

Even in the courtship stage, certain things are not accepted to be done. It is a promise to be married and not marriage. Know the difference. Even co…

Ivory Coast's former first lady Simone Gbagbo acquitted

The charges related to the violence that followed the 2010 presidential poll when her husband, Laurent, refused to accept defeat to Alassane Ouattara.
The majority of the judges dismissed the prosecution's argument that Simone Gbagbo, 67, headed a crisis cell and tried to buy weapons.
She is already serving a 20-year prison term for undermining state security.
Ivory Coast has refused to extradite her to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, where Laurent Gbagbo is on trial for crimes against humanity.
The ICC has issued a warrant for Simone Gbagbo on similar charges.
More than 3,000 people died in the violence after the 2010 presidential poll.
Laurent and Simone Gbagbo were arrested in 2011 after troops stormed a bunker where the pair had taken refuge in the main city, Abidjan.

Angry mob gets tired of beating an unrepentant burglar, force him to dig his own grave to bury him alive (Video)

Angry residents of Dwarsloop village in South Africa who got tired of administering corporal punishment and severe beatings on an unrepentant burglar decided it was best for him to dig his own grave and be buried alive. COCOBOD CEO earns Gh¢70,000 monthly salary

The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) earns a whopping Gh¢70,000 monthly, according to the new board chairman of the outfit Hackman Owusu-Agyeman.
According to the former Foreign Affairs Minister, the figure is “outrageous” hence the decision to slash the salaries of top management of COCOBOD.
He noted that despite the cut some top managers of COCOBOD will still earn more than the president and other Article 71 office holders which is pegged around Gh¢22,000.
“COCOBOD is a state institution. It cannot be taken out of the context of the overall remuneration structure and within the executive and those ancillary services.
“For me, it is absolutely unthinkable that the gross salary of the Chief Executive Officer should be in the neighbourhood of GHc 70,000 to GHc 75,000 a month, and the net is about GHc 55, 000 to GHc 57,000 a month. If you even discount this by 50 percent, it would still be higher than anybody under article 71 of the constitution,” the M…
