Rihanna and Drake's on-and-off romance might be over (for now), but the two were in the same room again over the weekend when they attended a birthday party for a mutual friend's kid. An onlooker at the celebration captured the former couple in the same room through Snapchat, though they weren't seen interacting one on one.
RiRi put her focus on playing Auntie and hung out by the ball pit, while Drake was spotted chilling out with a buddy by the door. That awkward moment when you and your ex show up to the same party #rihanna#drakepic.twitter.com/OydtPkcMSq — BallerAlert (@balleralert) April 10, 2017

Trump administration 'to sell Nigeria planes' for Boko Haram fight

The Trump administration plans to sell military planes to Nigeria despite concerns over rights abuses and a botched air strike that killed scores of civilians in January, US media say.
Up to a dozen A-29 Super Tucano aircraft would be sold to Nigeria to help fight Islamist militant group Boko Haram, unnamed US officials said.
The deal, which is not yet official, will require approval from Congress.
Boko Haram's deadly insurgency has displaced more than two million people.
The deal, said to be worth up to $600m (£490m), was agreed by the Obama administration, but was reportedly halted on the day it was due to be sent to Congress, after a catastrophic incident involving the Nigerian military.
About 90 people, mainly women and children, were killed in January when the Nigerian Air Force mistakenly bombed a camp in the country's north-east, which was hosting thousands of those who had fled Boko Haram.
An aid distribution was taking place at the time of the attack, according t…

Ivanka Trump influenced my father to launch the Syria military strike - Eric Trump reveals

In a new interview with Telegraph, Eric Trump said he is "sure" his sister Ivanka used her influence over their father to encourage the US president to launch military action against Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
Donald Trump ordered air strikes against a Syrian air base last Thursday in response to a chemical weapons attack by the Assad regime on Tuesday that killed at least 87 people including more than 30 children.

“Ivanka is a mother of three kids and she has influence. I’m sure she said: ‘Listen, this is horrible stuff. My father will act in times like that. And by the way, he was anti doing anything with Syria two years ago. Then a leader gasses their own people, women and children. At some point America is the global leader and the world’s superpower has to come forward and act and they did with a lot of support of our allies and I think that’s a great thing” Eric Trump told the Telegraph

Annie~Joy writes: I Love Me. Part 2. #BeInspired!

Life is too short to worry about what you want and wish your body to be. At times, some people act out because of some comments passed on to them. For instance, a lady told me “Annie I can't go out because people call me ‘Oboshie’ which means big and due to that, I am losing confident in myself.” She asked, do you become less of a human just because you are fat? That sound sad.
She continued, “because of that I can't take full pictures. Within me I smile because for you to become fat sometimes is as a result of the kind of food we eat and lack of exercise. I told her No, this got nothing to do with you losing confident rather it's about you making exercise part of you to reduce the fat in you, in order to get your desired body size or else you will admire a slim lady and by the time you realize, you might even be developing hatred for her. To cut my long message short, henceforth, I want you to appreciate your body image and not that of someone.

Jay Z pulls most of his music off Spotify in streaming battle with Tidal

Jay Z has pulled most of his music off Spotify. Nine of the rapper's 12 albums are no longer on the Swedish music streaming service, with only his first three records available plus two collaboration records with R. Kelly and a handful of other big singles.
Spotify told Newsbeat: "We can confirm that some of Jay Z's catalogue has been removed at the request of the artist."
Jay Z bought his own streaming service, Tidal, in 2015 for £45m. But it only has around three million subscribers.
That compares to Spotify's 50 million paying subscribers and Apple Music's 20 million while Deezer, Google Play Music and Amazon Music still lag behind.
Other artists have withheld music from Spotify.
Taylor Swift removed her entire back catalogue in 2014 after a row over artist payments and Adele's last album, 25, was only available on CD for the first seven months of release.
Jay Z's wife Beyonce also withheld her latest album, Lemonade, from Spotify.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has banned government officials from acquiring state vehicles that are more than three years old.
Addressing journalists Monday, the President stated that the practice where government appointees are allowed to purchase vehicles allocated to them when leaving office is no more in place.
The president’s comment comes after the brouhaha over some state vehicles that were declared missing after the NPP administration took over from the erstwhile NDC government.
It was revealed that some previous officials under the Mahama-led administration were allowed to acquire their state vehicles before the NDC government handed over power.
The president in his brief press conference at the Peduase Lodge also reiterated his government’s ban on purchasing of new vehicles by Ministries, Departments and Agencies due to the economic circumstances Ghana finds herself in at the moment.
The President stated that the three-day retreat at Peduase Lodge was to revie…

50 Cent 'punched fan who pulled him off stage'

50 Cent punched a female fan who pulled him off stage.
The rapper was performing at Baltimore Soundstage over the weekend, when he reached into the crowd and a woman grabbed him and pulled him off the stage.

According to video footage, obtained by TMZ, 50 Cent hit out in order to free himself.

And he later invited the woman up on stage, where she was spotted twerking during his performance.

This isn't the first time 50 has run into trouble during a performance; last year he was arrested by police for using profanity during his gig in St Kitts in the Caribbean.
The rapper had been warned not to curse during his performance but he used the word "motherf****r", which got him taken to the police station by cops and charged.

Although it was treated as a minor offence, 50 Cent had to remain in the Caribbean for a few days in order to attend court and pay a fine.

Meanwhile, earlier this year 50 Cent's bankruptcy case was discharged after he paid out over $22 million.

Rush Energy Ghana Dance Awards 2017 Launch & Nominees Announcement Set For April 29

The art of dance and its performers' contribution to Ghana's arts and entertainment industry over the years cannot be underestimated; the dancers' creativity, gaiety, energy, among other qualities bring forth life to events they perform at.

Despite their vital role, they are relatively the least celebrated and/or recognised professionals in the country's performance art industry.

It is in this regard that the first-ever national dance award scheme, Rush Energy Ghana Dance Awards (REGDA) has been created to primarily honour distinguished individuals and groups, who have, and are keenly projecting dance in the country. Among other dance genres, traditional dance, African contemporary dance and street dance will also be celebrated.

To take the plunge, a breathtaking launch and nominees unveiling ceremony for REGDA 2017 under the theme "Dance In Ghana: Let's Promote It" has been scheduled to take place later this month.

Caitlyn Jenner reveals she has undergone gender reassignment surgery

Caitlyn Jenner, 67, who was married 3 times and has 6 children and some Grandchildren, revealed in her upcoming memoir that she has undergone gender reassignment surgery. She revealed that the surgery was done in January of this year, almost two years after she revealed her decision to transition into a woman.
She made the revelation after admitting that it annoyed her each time fans asked about her genitals and whether or not she had kept the parts she was biologically born with or had surgery. In the memoir, titled 'The Secrets of My Life', she wrote:

'The surgery was a success, and I feel not only wonderful but liberated.'She also explained that she made the decision because she was tired of constantly tucking away her penis each time she had to go out.
She continued:
'So why even consider it? Because it’s just a penis. It has no special gifts or use for me other than what I have said before, the ability to take a whiz in the woods'.  'I just want …
