A payment card featuring a fingerprint sensor has been unveiled by credit card provider Mastercard. The rollout follows two successful trials in South Africa.
The technology works in the same way as it does with mobile phone payments: users must have their finger over the sensor when making a purchase.
Security experts have said that while using fingerprints is not foolproof, it is a "sensible" use of biometric technology.
'Nine changes'
Mastercard's chief of safety and security, Ajay Bhalla, said that the fingerprint technology would help "to deliver additional convenience and security. It is not something that can be taken or replicated."
However, fingerprint sensors can be compromised.

Annie~Joy writes:The Enemy Is Good Enough. #BeInspired!

Blames and complaining of our life crisis is normally lavished on the enemy. Before I proceed, allow me to explain the term "Enemy"; Enemy is not someone who disagrees with you on a decision or anything you needed help but the person couldn't grant it, instead, "enemy is someone whom GOD also dislike". Enemy is someone whose wishes about you is purely negative. Nothing positive comes from such person about you. Before someone can be your enemy, God is the first person to see the person as an enemy. Therefore, God's enemy is your enemy. It was the enemy who went to God to take permission to torture the life of Job. It was the enemy who went to the Garden of Eden to deceive Eve. It was the enemy who went to test the Son of Man after his forty days of fast. It was the enemy who used Saul (Paul) to manipulate the people of God. Hence, don't consider someone who disagrees with you on something as your enemy. Now let's take the pattern to this…

A distraught Neymar left the field in tears as Juventus held Barcelona to a 0-0 draw at the Camp Nou on Wednesday to reach the Champions League semifinals 3-0 on aggregate.
Barca had overcome a 4-0 first-leg deficit against Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 with a dramatic 6-1 win back on home soil.
But Juventus showed why they boast the best defensive record in the competition as Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar were blunted as the Italians gained revenge for their defeat in the 2015 Champions League final.
"To not concede a goal in two games against Barcelona says a lot about the tactical level of the team," said Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri.
"They had more chances in Turin than they did tonight. The team defended very solidly tonight."
Juventus join holders Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Monaco in Friday's semifinal draw.
"We tried with all our might, but we couldn't find the route to goal," said Barca coach Luis Enrique. &…
