Video: Trump shoves a fellow world leader at NATO

During his first joint meeting with NATO leaders in Brussels, President Trump on Thursday appeared to push the prime minister of Montenegro aside.
In a video of the interaction, the president comes up from behind and then shoves Montenegro's Dusko Markovic to get to the front of the group of world leaders. Trump then adjusts his jacket.

12 years after dropping out of Harvard University, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg returned to pick up his degree. Zuckerberg, 33, received an honorary degree at the 366th Commencement on Thursday, May 25. 
"Mom, I always told you I'd come back and get my degree" he captioned a photo with his parents.

91-year old English monarch Queen Elizabeth II has visited some of the victims of the tragic suicide bomb attack on Manchester Arena which occurred on Monday night shortly after U.S. singer Ariana Grande’s concert.
The attack left 22 persons (including children) dead and dozens injured.

Indian acid-attack bride finds love from a wrong number

Indian acid-attack victim Lalita Ben Bansi beamed with joy at her wedding near Mumbai this week. 
"Who would have thought an acid attack and 17 surgeries later I would find love. But it happened," she told the Hindustan Times at the ceremony in Thane. 
She found her husband, Ravi Shankar, thanks to a wrong number.

Universal has canceled the London premiere for “The Mummy” following the attack in Manchester earlier in the week. 
The studio released a statement on Thursday morning, ahead of the premiere which had been scheduled to take place on June 1.

Former president John Agyekum Kufuor commends Raising Readers initiative

Readers initiative for supporting children in the country to improve their learning and broaden their minds through the reading of books.
Mr. Kufuor, who hosted 50 children from the Odododiodio constituency at his residence in Accra to read with them, said: “Reading is the first tool of education and I am happy that children will benefit from this arrangement by the Tigo Shelter for Education programme and Raising Readers Foundation to encourage and cultivate reading among Ghanaian children.”

Davido helps A Little Fan start School

Nigerian superstar, Davido today revealed that he has helped a little boy resume school today. The little boy was caught on camera recently singing along to Davido’s hit song “IF” when he was meant to be in class. 
Visibly excited by being able to help a fan, Davido put up a photo of the boy wearing a school uniform on his Instagram page and captioned it:

Obama gets rock-star welcome in Berlin, praises Merkel

Barack Obama received a rock-star welcome in Berlin as he appeared at a public debate on Thursday with Chancellor Angela Merkel, whom he praised as one of his "favorite partners" during his presidency.
According to Associated Press, Security was tight in front of the German capital's iconic Brandenburg Gate, where Obama and Merkel appeared on a podium before thousands of people attending a gathering marking the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. Police helicopters patrolled the skies and snipers with balaclavas watched the scene from nearby rooftops.

Atsu, Wakaso, left out of Ghana squad

Christian Atsu has been left out of the 30-man Ghana squad for next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia.
The 25-year-old forward is one of several high-profile players omitted by Kwesi Appiah in his first squad since his second coming as Black Stars coach.
Atsu, who signed for newly-promoted English Premier League side Newcastle United this week, is joined on the sidelines by Mubarak Wakaso, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Razak Brimah.

UK authorities aren't happy with the United States and British Prime Minister Theresa May has said she will confront U.S. President Donald Trump over intelligence leaks by American officials when they meet at a NATO Summit in Brussels today.

After an emergency meeting with senior ministers, Theresa May said, 'I will make clear to President Trump that intelligence shared between our security agencies must remain secure".

Pigeon arrested in Kuwait after it was caught smuggling 200 ecstasy pills

Authorities in Kuwait recently caught a bird (pictured) with a backpack full of ecstasy tablets strapped to its back. Sent by traffickers, the bird had reportedly began its smuggling route in Iraq and was tracked by authorities on its way to Kuwait. The bird was caught and once the backpack was opened up, close to 200 small, white pills can be seen spilling out...

Time is a universal tool one cannot do without, in life.  That's how I call it. Everything done on daily life, is done on time bases. Time is permanent, but there is this thing, that has little similarities with time, it's SEASON. Season is temporary. A South Africa-based Ghanaian pastor has thrown South Africans into a state of shock after a short video of one of his church sessions was televised on a local TV station.

The pastor, who is said to be based at Rustenburg in the North West Province of South Africa is seen in the video, kissing a female congregant to during what appears to be a healing session.

In the video, two women are seen on stage together with two men who are presumed to be junior pastors or ushers of the church.

Ramadan 2017 fasting to start Friday May 26 - Chief Imam

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu has announced that this year’s Ramadan Fasting would start on Friday May 26, if the moon is sighted on Thursday May 25.
However, he said if the moon is not sighted on Thursday, Saturday May 27 will automatically be the first day of Ramadan 2017.

Three dead confirmed in Jakarta double bombing Indonesia

Suspected suicide bombers killed three Indonesian police officers and wounded 10 people in twin blasts near a bus station in the eastern part of the capital.
The explosions went off minutes apart on Wednesday night at Jakarta's Kampung Melayu terminal, police said.
"Initially I heard a loud bang I thought it was burst tyre. I saw many people gathered and taking pictures with their mobile phones. I approached them to find out what happened and I saw a severed arm on the street," said fruit seller Ardi Maulana.

Black Starlets Qualify For Under 17 AFCON

Ghana’s Black Starlets beat Niger 6-5 on penalties to make it to the final of the ongoing Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Niger had held the Starlets to a goalless draw in regulation time at Stade de Port-Gentil after they were pinned to their half for almost the entire duration of the game.

At least 31 African migrants including young children drowned on Wednesday when they fell off an overloaded vessel in the Mediterranean Sea. "This morning our crew on board the Phoenix reported that they were engaged in the rescue of a large wooden boat carrying several hundreds of people" said a spokesperson for Maltese NGO, Migrant Offshore Station (MOAS).

Paul Pogba propelled Manchester United towards a 2-0 victory over Ajax on Wednesday in a Europa League final rendered heavy with emotion by this week's terror attack in Manchester. 
A night that began with a moment of silence, then applause, in memory of the 22 people who died at Manchester Arena on Monday ended with United completing their trophy collection through goals from Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

As the investigation continues into the terror attack that left 22 people dead in Manchester on Monday, UK police have just confirmed that Six men and one woman have now been arrested and all in custody for interrogation in connection to the attack.
