There will be blood, Nigerian militant group warns

To the international oil companies working in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, a militant cease-fire is officially over, the Niger Delta Avengers said Friday.
"Our next line of operation will not be like the 2016 campaign which we operated successfully without any casualties," spokesman Murdoch Agbinibo said in a statement. "This outing will be brutish, brutal and bloody."

American 'charged with insulting Mugabe'

Zimbabwean-based US citizen Martha O'Donovan, 25, has been charged with insulting President Robert Mugabe, 93, the satirical video outlet where she works has said.

A female Hawaii judge of Maui 2nd Circuit, Rhonda Loo, recently handed down an unorthodox sentence to a man to write 144 compliments to his ex-girlfriend, in response to the 144 “nasty” text messages that he is accused of sending her.

According to the APreports, Daren Young pleaded no contest to violating a protection order preventing him from contacting his ex-girlfriend.

Renowned Mathematician, Professor Francis Kofi Ampenyin Allotey, 85, is reported to have passed away Thursday night after complaining of discomfort.
A family member, Sarah Ofei, told Peace FM,  the professor passed at about 10 pm after he was rushed to the hospital.
