Zylofon Media creates $1,000,000 fund for Ghana’s creative arts industry

Zylofon Media has launched an arts fund to support the creative arts industry.

Head of Communication for the outfit, Samuel Atuobi Baah speaking at a press conference held on Friday, January 19 at the company’s headquarters in Accra to outdoor the Zylofon Arts Fund (ZAF) mentioned that the 360 entertainment firm starts the initiative with a million dollar. According to him, the cash is to help creative arts personalities who have projects but short capital.

He continued that a five-member committee will analyze applications of creative arts personalities before granting them money for their initiatives. Sammy Flex as he is fondly called further disclosed that cash taken from the ZAF is interest free.

On how the company will sustain the fund owing to the fact that cash given is interest free, Sammy Flex told the press  that “we believe in the sustainability of the fund so Zylofon Media has decided to put 10% of profits we will make from our worldwide businesses into the fund to support it.”

He further revealed that they will seek support from business partners and associates like Menzgold  to assist the new scheme.

Not just that, fund raising concerts will be organized in and outside the country to fuel the plan.

Zylofon Arts Funds can be accessed by all in the creative arts industry.

Interested persons will send their application to Zylofon Headquarters at East Legon in Accra for review.
