Black Panther’s sister Shuri to get own Marvel Comic Book Series Authored By Nigerian-American Nnedi Okorafor
The Black Panther season is far from being over, each character in the
movie tells a unique story that resonant perfectly with Africa, from the
ancient world to the present day. Shuri played
by Letitia Wright elevated the technological settings of the entire
movie, her ability to develop different gadgets to aid in the fight
against the enemy also helped a lot.
And of course, the entire Wakanda nation somehow rested on the shoulders of the little princess (sister of T’Challa),
with such high thinking ability, it is only a matter of time that she
get the needed attention. Hence, Nigerian-American author, Nnedi
Okorafor has been handed the exclusive right by Marvel to pen a
comprehensive comic book series.
The book entails the life of the super genius young African woman who
travelled into the past and saw the entire Wakanda Nation before its
present state fetching her the name ‘Ancient Future’ from her ancestors.
Expected to be launched on October 28, 2018.
