Photos: Patrons of the just ended sweetest two-day event, The Cake Fair 2018, had their time's worth with mouth watering cake-mazing treats and sizzling poetry performances.

The 2018 edition of the annual Cake Fair opened at the Accra Digital Center over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday, 9am-6pm.
 
It marked the third edition of The Cake Fair - Ghana's biggest gathering of cake businesses, cake equipment and supplies, and cake enthusiasts. 

Popular media personalities including Media General's Natalia Forte and Alfred Ocansey of TV3, Fiifi Forson and Madonna of Sunny FM took turns to fraternize with their funs while gracing the event with their presence. 

The Cake Fair 2018 on its first day opening started on a really amazing note with hundreds trooping in to sample and buy cakes, as well as network with family and friends. And they didn't have to pay a cedi to have access into the venue. 

One could tell the aptly detailed and well crafted cake designs exhibited by vendors - from detailed colors and arrangements to the awesome cake shapes. OMG. 

Twenty cake vendors including companies that specializes in assorted designs were present to showcase their jaw-dropping designs at Ghana's most influential cakes brand events. 

The Cake Fair 2018 provided both startups and leading vendors in the country's cake decorating, sugarcraft and baking industry the biggest networking platform to showcase their finest unique cake designs and accessories, while making available so much free samples to taste, making dazzling moments and memories with great music collections.

Sunday, the second and last day of The Cake Fair had amateur bakers compete for a prize - with so much free give aways to winners of various cake making games. 

CEO of Yellow October Events, Kekeli Gloria Hogba, reiterated the need for government to get on board to help expand cake tourism and cake businesses in Ghana.  

She also called on investors "to see the opportunities available in the sugarcraft and cake business." Assuring investors that "there's much greater profit returns for [companies] and individuals who will sponsor" The Cake Fair 2019.

Ghana's leading media power-houses TV3 Network Limited and 3FM partnered this year's edition of The Cake Fair to capture sights and sound to its viewers and listeners across the country.
