Africa’s Comedy Kid Comes To Ghana

The most celebrated child comedian in Africa, Emmanuella of the ‘Mark Angel Comedy’ series, has confirmed she will be in Ghana on August 13 for a talk-of-town performance to be held at the Efua Sutherland Park in Accra.

Emmanuella will be in Ghana with her two team mates, Uncle Denilson and Mark Angel, and she will be performing alongside Ghana’s Kalybos and child actor cum comedian, Cartoon

The young girl is just six-years-old and in primary one, but she has become a sensation across several African countries and one of the most popular names on social media.

The event, both a comedy and music show laced into one, is aimed at providing both education and entertainment to the thousands of children who will be attending.

 “We have to use entertainment to offer education and the best way we can learn is when we are not nervous and no one can be nervous when being entertained with comedy. This is our exact concept so we have also contracted musicians Donzy, Awal, Nii Funny, among others, for the event,” organisers told NEWS-ONE.

“They have been feeding comedy lovers in Africa and beyond with hilarious comedy skits, including the ever popular, ‘This is Not My Real Face’ and others for some years now. Due to their growing popularity in Ghana, the team thought it was important to perform for their fans in Ghana as well.

“She has some adults who admire her talent, but Emmanuella’s great fan base is kids. She can’t wait to meet her family here,” one of the organisers stated.

The concert is being staged by 3dotz Multimedia and supported by Flex Entertainment and Pluzz FM.
