DJ accused of groping Taylor Swift denies singer's claims

The fired radio personality accused of groping Taylor Swift says he made contact with the singer — but only an inadvertent brush against her hand and arm.

David Mueller — who Swift says violated her at a 2013 meet-and-greet — contended in a new radio interview that he never lifted up the "Bad Blood" artist's skirt and grabbed her bare backside as she claims.

"I've got my hand closed and my palm down, and I reach behind toward Taylor," Mueller said on Detroit's "Mojo in the Morning" on Tuesday, sharing his recollection of what happened. "Our hands touched, and our arms crossed. That's all I remember. (My hand) went behind her, and her hand went behind me."

Mueller also reacted to the recently surfaced photo that they took together at the time of the alleged incident, which shows the former on-air personality standing next to Swift with his hand clearly behind her.

"My hand was not touching her body," he said on the radio show. "This is what I can tell you: my hand was never under her skirt. I never grabbed her. My hand was not open."

The ex-KYGO radio host's account is in stark contrast to Swift's version of events. The "Red" singer recently claimed in a deposition that Mueller inappropriately touched her right as they posed for a picture together at the meet-and-greet event at Denver's Pepsi Center.

"As soon as he grabbed my (backside), I became shocked and withdrawn and was barely able to say 'Thanks for coming,' which is what I say to everybody," Swift recalled. "I was barely able to get the words out, and it was like somebody switched the lights off in my personality."

A judge approved Swift's plea to keep her picture with Mueller under a seal, but TMZ obtained the photo and published it earlier this month.

Mueller sued Swift in 2015, claiming her allegations caused him to lose his job with KYGO. Swift later responded by filing a countersuit.
