Explain hardships to Ghanaians – Otumfuo to Mahama

Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has advised President John Mahama’s government to explain to Ghanaians the reasons for some government policies that have worsened the living conditions of Ghanaians.

According to the overlord of Asante, government’s decision to sign up for a bailout from the International Monitory Fund (IMF) should be explained to Ghanaians because it has a direct effect on the life of the ordinary Ghanaian.

“When explanations are made, Ghanaians will understand the need to endure short-term hardships with the hope of relief in the long term,” he said.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II made the remarks when President John Dramani Mahama called on him on Wednesday June 29 at his Manhyia Palace on the second day of his Accounting to the People tour in the Ashanti Region.

“With the IMF bailout, you need to be silent on some of the arrangements, but there is the need to explain some of the agreement to Ghanaians, for example, over why utility tariffs have gone up, and that if t…

Self-acclaimed relationship and marriage counselor, Counselor Lutterodt is back with his stories again.

This time around, Counselor Lutterodt is hitting hard at ladies saying any woman who’s unable to get a man to marry her is lazy. He disclosed this when he appeared on Naa Ashorkor’s Tales from the powder room show.

“How can a beautiful woman walk from Monday to Friday, and no man walks to her and say hi? That woman should cry out to God or if that person is not a Christian, she can consult a juju person because for a lady, men should be chasing you here and there.” He disclosed.

When asked by Naa why some ladies attract wrong men, Counselor Lutterodt stated that if constantly a lady is attracting wrong men, then that lady should check where she is and that some places are meant to attract the wrong person.

He said, “Constantly, if wrong men are coming your way, then check where you are because some places are meant to attract the wrong person at a specific time.”

Corruption, broken economy, dumsor are Mahama’s legacy - Akufo-Addo

“When the record of Ghana’s history in the 4th Republic is being written, we can point to the establishment of the District Assembly concept, which sought to deepen popular participation in governance, as originating from former President Rawlings.

“The establishment of the National Health Insurance Scheme, which delivered affordable, quality healthcare to Ghanaians, bears the name of President Kufuor. President Mills was not with us for long. In the Five years of President Mahama, what can we say is his legacy? What has he done to ensure Ghana moves forward? Perhaps it is the ‘dumsor,’” the 2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, said at Fotobi, in the Nsawam/Adoagyiri constituency, at the commencement of his 5-day tour of the Eastern region.
