Enough of NDC hardship - Rawlings

The 2016 flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, has once again taken a swipe at the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) for plunging the nation into an untold hardship.

Mrs. Rawlings said the situation has made life very unbearable for Ghanaians.

According to her, many Ghanaians, especially the youth are bearing the brunt of the NDC government’s ‘incompetent’ management of Ghana, saying the Mahama-led administration is bereft of cogent policies and programmes to impact positively on the lives of the teeming Ghanaian youth.

“More than 60 percent of this country’s population are youth, but why is it that, majority of the population is suffering? Parents are suffering, we adults are also suffering and anybody who will tell you that, they are comfortable; they are part of the stealing,” the former first lady stated.

Foetus Dumped Behind Church

RESIDENTS OF Bompata in Kumasi on Sunday morning were greeted with the horrific scene of a foetus dumped in a gutter.

The drain, where the foetus was found, was said to be very close to a famous church in the area.
The foetus was believed to be seven months old, as it had almost developed into a baby, when it was found by the shocked-to-the-marrow people.

The person that dumped the foetus into the gutter was nowhere to be found when people stumbled on the gory sight, early in the morning.

Scores of people that the paper spoke to later on, suspected that the one who committed the grievous sin might live in the area.

According to them, it was almost impossible for someone that lived far from Bompata to travel to the area and dump the foetus into the gutter.

They vowed to investigate to see if any of the young girls that are pregnant in the area, have suddenly lost her pregnancy.

The people were hopeful that the culprit would eventually be found to face the law.
