Business man who owns 22 apartments in the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa wants to buy more

To say you own one apartment in the world's tallest building would be impressive. But to say you own 22, now that would just be hard to believe right?

Well believe it! Indian businessman George V. Nereaparambil is the very man who owns more than his fair share of the 900 apartments in the Burj Khalifa. He is thought to be one of the largest private owners within the building, but he says he's not stopping at 22.
"If I get a good deal, I'll buy more. I am a dreamer and I never stop dreaming," he tells Khaleej Times from one of his 49th floor apartments in the iconic Dubai landmark.

With lavish gold decor covering the walls, floors and ceilings, the apartment is a good match for George himself.

Sharply dressed in a silver-toned suit with bright white shoes, he is every bit the successful businessman he portrays: Passionate, hardworking, but humble down to his core. George's impressive property resume all came about when a friend teased him about the 828-m…

Hillary Clinton 'felt unwell' at 9/11 ceremony

US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says she is "feeling great" hours after her early exit from a 9/11 ceremony raised health fears.
Her campaign said earlier she had left the event in New York because she had "felt overheated" and had gone to her daughter's apartment.
Mrs Clinton's Republican opponents have queried her physical fitness.

Her doctors say she made a full recovery from surgery she underwent in 2012 for a blood clot.
Mrs Clinton's personal doctor Lisa Bardack said last month she was "in excellent health and fit to serve as president of the United States".
The Clinton campaign has accused opponents of pushing a "deranged conspiracy about Clinton's health".

Mrs Clinton is 68. Republican candidate Donald Trump is 70.
Emerging from her daughter's home, Mrs Clinton said: "I'm feeling great. It's a beautiful day in New York." She later left for her home in Chappaqua, New York, according…

Mo Farah was humiliated and sent to the back of the queue by an airline attendant before a flight in the United States, his wife has said.
Tania Farah said the Delta Airlines official shouted at the four-time Olympic gold medallist and refused to believe he had a business class ticket.

Farah, who retained his 5,000m and 10,000m titles at August's Rio Olympics, and his family were flying from Atlanta to their home in Portland, Oregon.
"This woman basically humiliated him until people came forward and said: 'That's Mo Farah, the Olympic champion'," his wife said.
"She was mortified afterwards, but had basically yelled at him.
"He was the only black person and hadn't done anything to warrant it."
The incident is alleged to have happened on 22 Augus…

Woman in famous VJ Day 'Kiss' photo dies aged 92

The woman kissed by a sailor in an iconic photograph marking the end of World War Two has died aged 92.
Greta Zimmer Friedman died of pneumonia at a hospital in Richmond, Virginia, her son Joshua Friedman said.
Ms Friedman was a 21-year-old dental assistant when she was grabbed and kissed by George Mendosa in New York's Times Square on 14 August 1945.
The photo of that moment became one of the enduring images of the VJ Day celebrations in the US.
It was originally published as part of a round-up of celebration pictures in Life magazine.
Ms Friedman herself said she was not even aware of the photo until the 1960s when she saw a book by the man who took the photo, renowned photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt.
'Wasn't much of a kiss'There were a number of people who claimed to be the sailor and the nurse in the photo and it was not until the 1980s that they were confirmed to be Ms Friedman and Mr Mendosa.

Ghanaian-born politician sworn in as Dutch MP

History has been made in the Dutch Parliament after Amma Asante, a Ghanaian born-politician became a member of the the Netherlands' legislature. She will will serve until March 2017, when the next general elections are expected to be hold.

Miss Asante's rise to this position has not come easy, since the last elections over four years ago (2012). She was left waiting because she narrowly missed direct election to the parliament because her party, Partij van de Arbeidre, (Labour Party)also known as Pvda fell short on the number of seats won to give Amma Asante a place in the Dutch Parliament. Despite doing well at the polls gathering over 4,500 votes, her party secured only 14 seats while she was number 15 on the list at the national polls.

Technically she stood a chance to make it to the parliament but that never happened until 7th September 2016 at 1.45pm when the speaker of the Dutch parliament, Mrs Khadija Arib called the house in order and listened to the secreta…

Ewan McGregor in no rush to direct again after American Pastoral

Ewan McGregor says he has no plans to rush back to directing after making his debut with American Pastoral.
The 1960s-set drama, based on Philip Roth's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, premiered at the Toronto film festival.
McGregor also stars in the film, alongside Jennifer Connelly and Dakota Fanning.

Speaking to the BBC, McGregor said: "On the one hand it's been the most incredible experience and I would long to do it again.
"And on the other hand, it's a very costly experience - 16,17,18 months of your life - carrying something very precious."
He highlighted the challenge of juggling directing with "trying to be a husband and a father and a human being".
"It's quite a costly thing to do," he said. "I can only assume that's why it's taken me 15 years of wanting to do it, to do it."
The Scottish star said he needed a story he was "burning to tell" to justify that commitment.
"I hope very much to find the ne…

The quake struck close to the border with Uganda and Rwanda near Lake Victoria.
Images posted on social media showed significant damage to buildings in Bukoba, a city of more than 70,000 people where most casualties were reported.

Tremors were felt as far away as western Kenya.
"This incident has caused a lot of damage," Deodatus Kinawila, the district commissioner of Bukoba, told the BBC.
"For now, the situation is calm and under control," he said later.

The US Geological Survey says the quake struck at a depth of 10km (six miles) at 15:27 local time on Saturday (12:27 GMT).
