Prem Update: Chelsea Win, Payet Saves Hammers

Chelsea produced a vastly-improved second half performance as they put recent problems behind them with a 2-0 win at Hull City.
The Blues were grateful to goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who made a fine save from a deflected Robert Snodgrass free kick, as they struggled to get going before the break and failed to muster an effort on target.
But it was a different story in the second half as Chelsea started strongly. They should have led when N’Golo Kante played in Diego Costa, whose effort deflected off Jake Livermore and hit the post, with Kante blazing the rebound over the bar.

They broke through after 61 minutes when Costa played the ball to Willian on the edge of the area and he curled a sumptuous shot high into the net, and the advantage was doubled six minutes later as striker Costa produced an outstanding finish of his own.
In the day’s early game, Liverpool went second in the Premier League table after coming from a goal down to secure a 2-1 victory at struggling Swansea.

As part of the rituals, the jujuman instructed them to sleep in a coffin in turns for seven days.

According to a resident of Asawinso, Nana Yaw Koranteng, who is a close friend of Mallam Kantanka’s, Kumasi elected himself to be the first to sleep in the coffin, while the remaining two waited for their turns.

Hurricane Matthew is strongest storm in Atlantic in nine years

The most powerful hurricane in the Atlantic for nine years is moving towards Jamaica with wind speeds of up to 260km/h (160mph), strong enough to wreck houses.
Weather forecasters have upgraded Hurricane Matthew to category five, the highest on the scale of intensity.
Jamaican PM Andrew Holness has called an urgent meeting of parliament to discuss hurricane preparedness. The storm is expected to make landfall by Monday.
Jamaica's palm-lined southern coast is expected to be hit first. The capital, Kingston, is located in the area, as is the country's only oil refinery.

Officials have warned the high winds could also batter the island's main tourist areas including Montego Bay in the north.
"The government is on high alert," Mr Holness' director of communications, Robert Morgan, was quoted by Reuters as saying.
"We hope that the hurricane does not hit us, but if it does hit us, we are trying our very best to ensure that we are in the best possible place.&q…

Caf sets three-term limit on presidency

The Confederation of African Football president will be limited to three terms in office from next year's election in March 2017.
Junior Binyam, Caf's media spokesman, confirmed to BBC Sport that the new ruling was approved at Thursday's Extraordinary General Assembly.
It is a major change for the governing body, whose incumbent president Issa Hayatou has been in power for 28 years.
The limit will also apply to the members of Caf's Executive Committee.
In February, football's world governing body Fifa limited its presidency to three terms in office as it aimed to recover from a corruption crisis.
Binyam told BBC Sport: "The main reason of this amendment of Caf statutes was to align them with Fifa ones. But more reforms and amendment can be expected."
In 2015 Caf voted to change the statutes which previously stopped officials serving past the age of 70, which paved the way for Hayatou, who turned 70 in August, to stand in the next presidential electio…

Current US President Obama showed his cool side when former US President Bill Clinton on Friday, delayed the US Airforce one from leaving Israel when Clinton kept talking to other people on the Tarmac.

The current and former presidents flew into Tel Aviv early Friday morning to attend the funeral of former Israeli President Shimon Peres. After the funeral, the presidents were supposed to get back on Air Force One to fly straight back to Washington, DC, for a dinnertime arrival.
President Obama boarded the plane first and waved to the crowd below, but grew kinda impatient as Clinton delayed the jet from leaving. He smiled as he kept beckoning on Clinton to get on the plane so they could leave, lol. Watch the video above.
