Melissa Etheridge takes sides in Brangelina battle

Melissa Etheridge is Team Brad Pitt.

The singer was a guest on Sirius XM's "Andy Cohen Live" Monday and spoke out about Pitt's divorce from Angelina Jolie.

"It breaks my heart that anyone would take something as personal as your marriage and your relationship and your rights to your children and do it as purposefully as I see it's being done," Etheridge said. "There's a way to be. I've gone through family courts."
In 2010, Etheridge engaged in a custody battle over twins she shares with her ex Tammy Lynn Michaels. Etheridge has a bit of a past connection to both Pitt and Jolie.

Actor Billy Bob Thornton was engaged to Etheridge's friend, actress Laura Dern, before he married Jolie in 2000.

And Etheridge performed at Pitt's first wedding to actress Jennifer Aniston.

Pitt lost touch with Etheridge, she said, in 2003 after he became involved with Jolie.

"Whether I'm winning or losing, I am who I am" Serena Williams covers Fader magazine

Serena Williams shows off her toned body on the October/November 2016 cover of Fader magazine. The 35-year-old tennis star talks public opinion of her sexuality, her body, advice for women speaking up against discrimination.
Q: How did you deal with people commenting about your body when you were younger, and how do you deal with it now?

Williams: I’ve purposely tuned people out since I was 17. At the time, it was basically newspapers and maybe a website article. Maybe if the web was up back then. Since the day I won the U.S. Open, my very first Grand Slam, I never read articles about myself. If I saw my name mentioned, I’d look away. I looked at the pictures, but that’s pretty much it. I didn’t want to get too cocky, and at the same time I didn’t want to have that negative energy. I don’t know why I did it, but I did it. Ever since then I’ve been really low-key.
People have been talking about my body for a really long time. Good things, great things, negative things.

Yahoo is in the process of being taken over by Verizon Communications in a $4.8bn (£3.8bn) deal. The telecoms provider declined to comment on the report. 'Upset workers' Reuters reports that the scans were requested by either the National Security Agency (NSA) or the FBI, according to three sources - two of whom it says were ex-Yahoo employees.

He noted that after the completion of the Adomi Bridge, he has asked the Ministry of Transport to give one of the two pontoons, which were ferrying commuters during the bridge reconstruction to Dambai, to aid transportation across the Volta River and the other to Yeji but because of procurement laws, any contractor who will dismantle and re-assemble the pontoons needed to be given a new contract to do so.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino suggests changing World cup from 32 teams to 48 teams

Gianni Infantino, president of the World Football's governing body, FIFA has suggested starting up a 48 team World Cup tournament, saying adding 16 more teams to the competition would see a playoff round added prior to the group stages of the world cup, with the 16 defeated nations going home after playing just one match.
According to Infantino, the proposal could take effect from the 2026 World Cup.

"The idea is that 16 teams would qualify directly to the group stage and the other 32 would play in a preliminary phase, in the country where the World Cup is being played," Infantino told reporters at an event in Bogota, Colombia on Tuesday.
"They would play for the remaining 16 places. It means we continue with a normal World Cup for 32 teams, but 48 teams go to the party."
One of Infantino's proposals while coming out for election  was to increase the number of teams competing in FIFA World Cups to 40 after Qatar 2022.

Justin Timberlake Looks Exactly Like a Guy Who Lived in 1870, Might Be a Time Traveler

Justin Timberlake is a talented singer, dancer, producer, actor and, possibly, time traveler. That last part is still speculation, but Graham Norton has some pretty solid evidence to back it up.
According to E! Online, when Timberlake stopped by The Graham Norton Show with Anna Kendrick and Daniel Radcliffe, the host pointed out that he has an eery historical doppelgänger from 1870.

Timberlake was a great sport about the picture, even going so far as to mimic the man's facial expression (or, you know, make the same face he made in 1870, if that time travel theory pans out).
Norton also pointed out some historical doppelgängers Radcliffe's-a trio of old ladies, who somehow look like elderly women and 12-year-old Daniel Radcliffe at the same time.
"That's me as an old lady," Radcliffe joked. "It's me as an old lady as a young boy."

Man insists he is the biological son of former President Bill Clinton

Rumors that Bill Clinton once fathered a child with a prostitute have reemerged, as the now 30-year-old man is trying to have the former president recognize him as his son. The man, Danney Williams started a Facebook page in December, under the new name Danney Williams-Clinton, with the intention of getting the Clintons' attention. The claim was initially made in the late 1990s by Williams' mother and in 1999, a DNA test reportedly conducted by Star magazine said that Danney couldn't be Clinton's son but the result of the test wasn't really clear.

Danney's story first garnered international attention in 1992, as then-Arkansas Gov Clinton was getting ready to run for presidency.
The Globe interviewed Danney's mother, a former prostitute named Bobbie Ann Williams, who gave them the exclusive story of how she allegedly met and began an affair with Clinton in 1984.

She said when she was 24 years old in 1984, Bill Clinton went out for a run one day in Lit…
