Woman, 102, ticks the strangest item off her bucket list - being 'arrested' and handcuffed by police

A 102-year-old woman has been ' arrested ' and handcuffed by police after officers granted her wish to tick the experience off her bucket list.
Edie Simms, of St Louis, had made more than 400 items including handmade scarves, bags and glass cases for seniors at the Five Star Senior Center on the southside of the Missouri city.

But Edie had never delivered them in person.

The St. Louis Police Department and the centre set up a trip in a police car with her homemade gifts - something she's wanted to cross off her bucket list, WFAA reported.

The centre's executive director, Michael Howard, reportedly said: "She was so excited that she can ride in a police car and she said, 'Do you think you could put those handcuffs on me?
"A St. Louis County car pulled up next to the police and Edie holds up her hands with the handcuffs on. She's just a riot."

Edie had never set foot in a police car before but said of the experience: "Oh yes, handcuffs and a…

Eno Wins Best Female Rap Artiste

Females in the country are not given much attention in the category of rap as the male dominated industry faces stiff competition.

In recent times, numerous male artistes have been on the frontline to pick awards locally and globally on the said category. Interestingly some female rap artistes have also been doing their best to dilute the male dominated industry and rap category to make a bold statement.
It’s been a long journey as their predecessors Akosua Agyepong etc try their best to hit some soft bars right from the early 80s.

However, for the new generation and frontline commercial rap it’s been the likes of Eno, Eazzy, Luosika and Itz Tiffany pushing the agenda.

Even though the likes of Eazzy and Itz Tiffany have had their fair share of popularity through afrobeats other than core rap or hiphop they are still celebrated as pioneers in the Ghanaian rap game.

Lousika made rap commercial and branded it beautifully however less was heard of her eventually. Eno has bee…

Bill Cosby Again Tries To Get Pennsylvania Criminal Case Thrown Out

Bill Cosby is trying yet again to get the only criminal case against him tossed — this time with a filing in Pennsylvania by his new lead attorney. His team has filed a motion seeking to dismiss charges of sexual assault in Montgomery County stemming from an alleged rape in 2004. The trail against the veteran comic is set to begin as early as June 5.
The motion from new lead attorney Angela Agrusa and Brian McMonagle recounts how the Montgomery County DA’s office pledged not to prosecute Cosby in 2005 after a lengthy investigation of claims made by former Temple basketball coach Andrea Constand that he had assaulted her at his home. The lawyers say it’s the first of several new pleadings expected in coming weeks challenging both the criminal and civil cases against him.

“When a defendant is prejudiced by the government’s delay in bringing charges, ‘the absence of valid reasons to justify the late filing of charges will mandate the trial court’ to dismiss those charges,” Cosby…

Birth of the Dragon: Anger over Bruce Lee biopic

Fans of Bruce Lee are criticising a new biopic of the late martial arts legend, accusing it of "whitewashing and burying" his legacy.
Birth of the Dragon follows the kung fu star's early years in the US and showcases his controversial fight with master Wong Jack Man in 1964.

Directed by George Nolfi, the movie debuted at the Toronto Film Festival.
But many fans have protested against Lee's portrayal, saying the star took "a subdued role in his own biopic".
"Is this a joke? I was here to see Bruce Lee but they put the focus on some white guy," wrote IMDb user ticklegear in a scathing online review.
"Instead of celebrating what a beast Bruce Lee was, they made him out to be some insecure and jealous loser. Seemed more like a character assassination, rather than a biopic."
He added: "A terrible film - I wouldn't recommend it as it tarnishes Bruce Lee's true history with half-baked lies."
Others who caught early previews cri…

Mandera County commissioner Fredrick Shiswa said the militants had also targeted a telecommunication site, but this was done to divert the attention of the security forces from the "a…

Of course, Crocosaurus Cove says the experience is perfectly safe as long as visitors meet the age requirements and undergo a brief safety training before braving the cage.

A 15-minute session in the Cage of Death costs about $126 for a single visitor and about $190 for two, including admission to Crocosaurus Cove’s other wildlife attractions. What wants to be a bad guy? Here's your chance.

Prince's Sister Tyka Nelson Gives Update on Late Singer's Will: 'We're Finally On The Last Leg'

Prince's family continues to pick up the pieces after the singer's sudden death earlier this year.
ET caught up with the musical icon's younger sister, Tyka Nelson, for a first look at Paisley Park, where she opened up about the fate of Prince's nearly $300 million estate.

"I think we're now finally on the last leg," Nelson told ET's Kevin Frazier, when asked about Prince's will.
The singer's estate is currently being managed by a trust company appointed by the court, after it was revealed that Prince did not have a will. To make things more complicated, numerous people came forward, claiming to be related to Prince and, therefore, heir to his fortune.
"We're finally through the 195,000 people that said they're related," Nelson said. "We've got one of the employees that was a half-brother of some of my half siblings, once we work that part out, I think we're there. So, I'll be happy."
Nelson also rev…
