Eminem Returning to Headline Reading, Leeds Festivals
Eminem has been announced as the third and final headliner for this summer's Reading and Leeds festivals (Aug. 25-27) . It's the third time Slim Shady will topline the venerable festival after taking the closing spot in 2013 and 2001.
"Eminem returning to Reading and Leeds is beyond exciting," said festival runner Melvin Benn according to NME. "His 2013 headline performance was incredible and I can't want to have him back." Marshall Mathers joins fellow headliners Kasabian and Muse. A number of other new acts were also announced on Friday (Feb. 24), including Bear's Den, Black Lips, Charlie XCX, Dillon Francis, Flatbush Zombies, Grouplove, Haim, Halsey, Marshmello, Migos, Milky Chance, Phantogram, Sam Divine, The Hunna and You Me at Six.— Reading & Leeds Fest (@OfficialRandL) February 24, 2017
While sister act Haim have announced that their second album will drop this summer it is unknown if Eminem will have any new material to share at Reading and Leeds.
