Madonna Reveals Names of Her Adopted Twin Daughters on Instagram
Madonna officially revealed the names of her newly-adopted twin daughters! The 58-year-old singer shared a new photo of her daughters on Wednesday, along with polarizing stats about the orphanage in Malawi where the children lived.
"There are 650 Orphans at Home of Hope where Estere and Stelle have lived for four years since they were five days old," she captioned an Instagram snap of some of the sisters' fellow orphans on Wednesday.
"Every little bit helps!!!!" she added.
A Malawian judge granted an adoption order on Tuesday, clearing the way for Madonna to take the girls home.
"The little sisters are both aged 4 years and 7 months as they were born on 24 August 2012," a Judiciary Spokesperson confirmed to ET, explaining that the twins' father is still alive, while their mother died days after childbirth.
"Madonna came to the court on Tuesday with her lawyer Mr. Mvalo," the spokesperson added. "The father of the children was also in court together with the uncle of the little girls. She looked very happy in court. She left with her two new daughters."
Estere and Stelle are two of four children that Madonna has adopted from the Southeast African country over the last decade. The Material Girl welcomed her now 11-year-old son, David, in 2007, and added daughter, Mercy, also 11, to the family in 2009.
Besides her adopted brood, Madonna also has two biological children, Lourdes, 20, and Rocco, 16.
