Adele cancels fireworks display after son, 4, gets debris in eye

Adele's concern for safety comes before putting on an elaborate show. The Grammy-winning songstress told the crowd at her Perth, Australia show on Tuesday that she had to cancel the firework display after debris flew into her 4-year-old son Angelo's eye, TheMusic.com.au reported.

"Up until last night, we did have fireworks for you," Adele told fans.

""My son was watching [SOUNDCHECK] in the crowd … a bit of debris went in his eye so we got rid of them," the "Hello" singer continued.

While she did declare the firework display was done, she revisited the idea later in the show asking if concertgoers wanted them.

"Let's get a cheer for fireworks if you want them," she asked, receiving cheers.

"Let's get a 'boo' if you don't want ---t in your eyes," she added.

"Alright, we'll do it next time."

The fireworks were supposed to be set off during the end of her hit song "Set Fire to the Rain," according to the Australian music site.

Adele shares son Angelo with longtime partner Simon Konecki. She revealed that after this current tour she would take another break to focus on growing her family.

The 28-year-old took home five Grammy awards on Feb. 12, including Album, Song and Record of the Year for both "Hello" and "25."
