Drake Home Burglarized, theif pilfiers $10 in beverages

Drake’s home was burglarized earlier this month, costing the rapper a mere $10 in water and soda.

On April 3, the alleged culprit gained access to the rapper’s Hidden Hills estate. A member of Drake’s team walked into the house around 10:30 p.m. and reportedly discovered the perpetrator in one of the rapper’s bedrooms, strangely wearing an item of his clothing. It’s currently unclear how the burglar entered the residence, as there were no signs of forced entry. 

According to Gossip Cop, the 24-year-old woman told Drake’s crew she had permission to enter his home, but later confessed to trespassing and stealing a number of drinks from the property, says TMZ. The star was not home at the time of the unusual incident. The criminal was arrested and charged with felony burglary.

Drake is the latest celebrity victim in a string of burglaries and break-ins throughout Los Angeles. In March, Emmy Rossum’s home was burglarized,with around $150,000 worth of jewelry reportedly stolen from the residence.

Prior to that disturbing incident, Jaime Pressly’s Sherman Oaks estate was burglarized. The actress, who wasn’t home at the time of the crime, discovered jewelry and her laptop missing when she returned. Other victims include Kendall Jenner, Alanis Morissette, Nicki Minaj and Cesar Millan.
