Akufo-Addo to meet press on Tuesday
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to address a press conference on Tuesday at the Flagstaff House.
The President is expected to touch on health, education, governance,
agriculture, energy and other key sectors of the economy including
inflation, exchange rates, among other government’s activities in the
last six months of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
The president will also address issues concerning campaign promises
made by the NPP such as the one-district-one-factory programme,
US$1million per constituency policy, removal and review of some taxes
including the three per cent flat Value Added Tax (VAT) rate that has
generated a lot of controversy.
The president is also expected to highlight his government’s programmes to create jobs as well as make Ghana business-friendly.
