Following Chester Bennington's death, Linkin Park albums make it back to US top 10 charts
After the death of front man and vocalist, Chester Bennington, two
albums by Linkin Park re-entered the top 10 on the US sales chart on
Tuesday.
“One More Light,” the California rockers’ final album, which hit
number one when it came out back in May, jumped back to number four on
the Billboard chart for the week while “Hybrid Theory” Linkin Park’s
debut album, which was the top-selling US album of 2001 returned at
number eight on the latest weekly chart.
41-year-old, Bennington who commited suicide a few weeks ago had long
struggled with drug and alcohol abuse and the trauma of child abuse.
Family and friends buried Bennington privately on Saturday in Los
Angeles.
