Photos: The Cake Fair 2017 Thrills Patrons

Following a hugely successful event last year and after pulling in over 3000 to its second event over the weekend, it is no longer debatable that The Cake Fair is Ghana’s biggest influential cake brand which provides an unmatched platform and exposure for startup bakers and companies that specialise in baking equipment, and cake accessories in the country.

With so much free samples to taste, the dazzling and colorful moments took place on Saturday at the Red Carpet Events Centre, East Legon in Accra.

The Cake Fair 2017 had both startup and leading vendors in Ghana’s cake decorating, sugarcraft and baking industry, showcasing their finest of unique cake designs and accessories.

Entertainment review presenter of GHOne TV, Eli Kharis delightfully opened the fair to visitors and for vendors to officially begin business, network and engage other participating vendors.

With the massive and impressive turn up, the official sponsor of this year’s Cake Fair, Dainess Foods, did not fail to convince; they provided patrons especially first time bakers the opportunity to witness live cake preparation and baking demonstrations, offered taste testing of their quality products and gave lots of free giveaways to winners of the lucky dip sessions. They also introduced their new margarine product which guarantees perfect finish for bakers even without the use of baking powder or flavors.

The jam-packed line up of activities accompanied by spot-on tunes from Live FM’s DJ Isaac Cool provided families a bonding and refreshing experience.

Notable faces including Ghanaian actor, Fiifi Coleman, Sunny FM’s Fiifi Forson, Madonna, and Giovanni Caleb of Starr FM were present to grace the event.

The Cake Fair 2017 was organized by Yellow October Events and VoiceAds with support from EIB Network, Praise TV, Pulse Ghana, 360 GH, CypressGH, Crabbita Media, and Graphic.
