I was back-up singer for Reggie Rickstone – Anita Erskine

Over the years, the road to becoming a successful artist is long and a difficult task.  Even some of the most talented and best-selling artistes in music history spent years building up their resume by singing backup vocals for other artistes.

In light of this, Ghanaian entrepreneur and media personality, Anita Erskine revealed, she did play role of a backup singer to some songs of Hiplife Grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone.

She made this revelation at the fifth edition of Twenty- One Thirty -One’s LEAD Series hosted by broadcaster Jay Foley.

According to Erskine she ‘sang some backups for Reggie Rockstone songs’ and added that ‘’Reggie will always say you gotta do better, you gotta go on stage’’

‘’The person who made me admit I could sing or that music was within me, long after my parents would really support me with signing publicly was Reggie Rockstone’’ she added.

The LEAD Series has already hosted top names as  Hipline founder Reggie Rockstone, Event Factory Ghana CEO Nabil Alhassan, Dr. James Orleans Lindsay (CEO of JL Properties), and celebrity blogger Ameyaw Kissi Debrah.
