Joe Mettle enlists protégé Luigi Maclean for new single

Beloved gospel singer Joe Mettle –who months ago, recorded his “God of Miracles” album at the Accra International Conference Centre –announces new music come September 12. Titled “Bo Nɔɔ Ni” (No One Else), the compelling worship number features talented emerging singer and protégé Luigi Maclean.

Possessing a captivating voice and unparalleled technique, Luigi (who is a 2009 finalist at Charterhouse’s Stars of the Future reality show) is widely regarded among the brightest of the new generation of gospel singers. Coming from a family of ministers, Luigi has already shared stages with many leading names in Ghanaian gospel music, and contributed backing vocals on Mettle’s previous projects.

In December 2016, Luigi led the esteemed JoyfulWay Inc in a sobering rendition of the Travis Greene classic “Made A Way”.

Joe Mettle is author of several widespread hymns/medleys, including “Owawani”, which won him VGMA Artist of the Year back in April. Active since 2011, he has been associated with Danny Nettey, Nii Okai, KODA, Joe Beecham, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Eugene Zuta, Yaw Sarpong among others.
