#MissAfricaUSA Nereida Labo Tours Ghana on 28th October - 4th Novenber

Nereida lobo is a Philanthropist and brand ambassador.  She is currently Miss Africa USA 2016.

Born and raised in Cape Verde, in underprivileged conditions, Nereida is now a recent graduate of Washington Adventist University. She has a deep passion to change the lives of underprivileged children in Africa, through her organization, Little Crowns.

This year she launched a campaign called "The Little Crowns Books For Change".

Its  mission is to empower children in Ghana through a powerful book drive. In her recent trip to Cape Verde, she was able to donate 160 backpacks plus school supplies and the mission still continues as she getting ready to bring over 1000 books to Ghana including school supplies to benefit over 200 children in the Bosuso Seventh Day Adventist school in Eastern Region.

Her vision is nothing less than realizing the potential of communities to empower less privileged communities for a more promising future. Through education many find hope that transforms not just their immediate circumstances, but their future estate for generations. Little Crowns is committed to a vision of empowering children with powerful habits of the mind for a better future. she prevent the degeneration of communities, families and countries simply by her universal approach to providing educational needs to children in underprivileged communities.

Through her donors she will be capable of bridging the gap between knowledge and global opportunities that sets these children on the path of defining a better chapter for themselves, their communities and the the world.

Nereida lobo is photo/fashion model, with a passion for visual expression of art through the physical form of the body. Her specific areas of focus are Photo, glamour, and fashion editorial but she has experience on a runway in a variety of different fashion shows. 

To date, she has participated in DC Fashion Week & has been featured in Nura Magazine, Bronze Magazine and A Deuz Magazine. In 2016, she was crowned Miss Africa USA and is the current reigning queen who has been featured guest on Voice of America, Cabo Video TV & Cape Verde Music Awards show.

Through her social impact as the current Miss Africa USA & humanitarian work in her home country of The Republic of Cape Verde and in the United States, she has brought an awareness to a current issues that shaped her into the woman she is today. 

By empowering the youth, she wants to give them a visual example of what they can achieve in their own lives. It is this very idea that guides her through her own career as she grows and evolves.
