"Whenever we look upon this earth, the opportunities take shape within the problem" (Nelson A. Rockefeller).
Another,
Discouraging thought is, you will get a job at the end of your program
based on who you know. Therefore, since I don't know anyone there is no
point in choosing that program. It might work that way but doesn't mean
that's the case. One great Journalist in Ghana called Anita Eskine
shared her story about her career today at a summit I attended. She
said: " I knew nobody when I was picking up the program of Journalism
and it was already known getting work at the end is a problem.
Yet I carried on. I remember, when I went for an interview at metro TV, first of all, I knew nobody there. Secondly, I wasn't selected after the interview but I didn't end there. I kept going to metro TV without being attended to until the third day, when I got the attention and the first task, was to go and buy waakye across the street which I willingly did. Before the opportunity for the program I read was opened". Today, She is a watchdog in the media who cannot be touched. Making positive impact greatly.
Life is like a market scene. Be part of the scene. Have
you seen or heard a Market seller going to the forest to sell her items
just because she was selling in the same geographical area with sellers
with the same items? Just as every winning story had it's losing story that makes advantage have a disadvantage. However, if you are willing to
survive, you will survive.
The same opportunities come as the same but
with slight differences. It's just like someone peeling the unwanted
part of the yam to cook and the other person cooking with the unwanted
part. At the end of the day, it's the same yam. Therefore be willing to
take up the risk for yourself. Choose to be among the lot and just stand
out to be outstanding. See life as an exam whereby all have been given
the same essay question to compose.
It is the same but cannot be written
the same. Be you and fight for what you want. A lot of people are
reading it yet you want to read it. Don't tremble over it because of the
" a lot" you are told or The Who you know gives the opportunity. Just
know GOD and go naked. Hence, see life like a market scene. Sell among
the people you are selling the same items with. Compete, be determined,
persistence and hard work and make GOD the scope of the course.
"
you're using carbon products, a replacement for steel. It's strong as
steel but it's 80% lighter so a lot of the market is strong and it's
even used in car part" (Steve Roesner).
