Remy Martin Is Cultivating A Love Of Cognac With Rooted In Exception Dinners
Last week Rémy Martin hosted the second installment of its Rooted in
Exception intimate dinners at Urban Grill attended by media,
entertainment, fashion, and finance industry influencers including
actors John Dumelo and James Gardiner, Enjoy magazine editor Dominique
Paravicini, food blogger Mukasechic, designer Elikem Kumordzi, and Joe
Anka, CEO of Ghana FX.
During the Rooted in Exception dinner, Rémy Martin’s Ghana Brand Ambassador, Mickael Bonnamy educated guests on the rich history and heritage of the Rémy Martin brand including the 6 pillars: ROOTED IN WINEGROWING, ROOTED IN FAMILY, ROOTED IN CHALK, ROOTED IN TIME, ROOTED IN TALENT, and ROOTED IN HARMONY “which exemplify our trust in the power of time and people’s talent, and our signature style based on harmony, which roots the Rémy Martin brand in exception,” shared Bonnamy.

Each of the dinner courses were expertly paired to enhance the rich
flavors of the Rémy Martin cognac. Guests were greeted with a Rémy
Martin Side-Car cocktail, a balanced blend of Rémy Martin VSOP,
Cointreau and fresh lime juice. A Rémy Martin Old Fashioned (Rémy Martin
VSOP, aromatic bitters and sugar) paired with an assortment of starters
including Smoked Salmon and Crispy Prawns. The main course was a choice
of Grouper or Sirloin Steak. All perfectly paired with Rémy Martin VSOP
cognac served neat.
Guests enjoyed the final course, a decadent chocolate cake with Rémy Martin XO.
“There are some who perceive cognac as a reserved or somewhat old spirit when in fact it is extremely versatile and can be enjoyed in cocktails and paired with food. With the Rooted in Exception dinners we are thrilled to provide guests and cocktail enthusiasts an opportunity to gain a better appreciation for the strengths and versatility of Rémy Martin Cognac Fine Champagne and its unique and uncompromising brand history,” adds Bonnamy.
