Stonebwoy’s “EOM” album out now – Listen Here!

International Ghanaian reggae/ dancehall  and Afropop giant Stonebwoy (Livingstone Satekla) finally announces his fourth studio project today.

A flavoursome array of local and international heavyweights as Sean Paul, Chronixx, Sarkodie, Pressure, I Octane, Efya, Vanessa Bling, Joey B, Kabaka Pyramid all feature on the double CD project: one half dedicated to Afrobeats, and the other, reggae/dancehall.

The record, jointly published by ZYLOFON Music and the artist’s own BMG imprint, consists 24 songs in all. Listening sessions were held, prior to the album launch, in Ghana and the UK. A concert in honour of the project is slated for the Accra International Conference Centre, December 22.

Acronym for “Epistles of Mama”, the album, hugely anticipated, follows other well-received projects as Grade 1, Necessary Evil, and Livingstone. A tribute to mother Catherine Satekla who passed in 2015, EOM joins a list of top GH acts to drop projects this year; others including  Sarkodie, EL, and Becca, Trigmatic, MzVee, and Ebony.

Stonebwoy has also been named alongside global reggae stars as Gentleman, Ziggy Marley, Inner Circle, Tarrus Riley, Chris Martin, Jahmiel, Charly Black among others for next year’s edition of the Summer Jam  festival slated for July 6th – July 8th.

Winner of several awards including VGMA Artist of the Year and BET Best International Act: Africa (both in 2015), Stonebwoy is CEO of the BMG imprint (home to budding singer Kevin Boy), and is franchise act for ZYLOFON Music. He also featured on  Morgan Heritage’s “Avrakadabra” (which has been nominated for  ‘Best Reggae Album’ in the 2018 Grammy Awards, alongside ‘Chronology’ by Chronixx, ‘Lost In Paradise’ by Common Kings, ‘Wash House Ting’ by J Boog, and ‘Stony Hill’ by Damian Marley).
