You Have Been Objective in Your Reportage - President Akufo Addo to Press Corps

President Akufo Addo has commended the Press particularly the Presidential Press Corps for their level of objectivity and clarity in their reportage as far as the activities of his presidency is concerned. 

Addressing the Flag Staff House Press Corps at the first of its kind formal interaction between a sitting President and his Press Corps at the seat of government, President Akufo Addo said the Press Corps from his monitoring have not engaged in praise singing about his government but have carried out their work professionally. He urged the Press Corps to hold in high esteem their role as the fourth estate of the realm and to continue to discharge their duties with all seriousness for the sake mother Ghana. 

The Dean of the Presidential Press Corps, Charles Takyi Boadu on behalf of the Press Corps thanked the President for the kind gesture of requesting to meet the press. He assured the President that the press team will continue to carry out their duties with all fairness.
