BMW built a full-size flying motorcycle that's based on a Lego kit

Any fan of Lego has at some point or another created some awesome machine that they wished could have been a real full-sized version. Most of us don't have the resources to make that happen, but BMW Motorrad does. Enter the new Hover Ride Concept. It's not just some digital mock-up either.
The display piece will debut this week at Lego World in Copenhagen, Denmark, before traveling to other locations like BMW Group Research and Innovation Center Munich and BMW Welt.
According to Autoblog, the project originally started off as a collaboration between Lego and BMW Motorrad, the German automaker's motorcycle division, for a 603-piece BMW R 1200 GS Adventure kit. Many Lego kits are what the company calls a 2 in 1, where one set of Lego pieces can be styled into two finished products. For the R 1200 GS, the second kit was a futuristic flying motorcycle. The team at BMW Motorrad had so much fun working with Lego that the group decided to craft a full-scale model.

Lifestyle:HR TODAY: Minimizing workplace negativity

Negativity at the workplace can happen at the blind side of management. It happens so fast that if care is not taken it creeps deep into the entire business. Nothing affects the morale of employees more severely than insistent negativity at the workplace.
It drains the energy of your employees and diverts critical attention from work, productivity and performance. Negativity can ensue from the attitudes, viewpoints and presumably the talk of just an individual, or in a crescendo of voices of people with similar interest snapping to a business decision or activity at the workplace.
It is therefore the responsibility of HR professionals to identify this cancer and quickly avert it, since we have a very close relationship with employees which sometimes affects personal dealings. Negativity can be manifested in exit interviews, culture surveys, staff fora’s and employee complaints. It exposes the actual reputation of the business. The 360 feedback sessions, intranet use amongst …

Annie~Joy writes: Deciding For The Upcoming! Be Inspired!!

Majority of the youth today are going through a tough situation whereby the elders/parents want to decide all for them in life. Many have been through such and couldn't do anything about it therefore they accepted the decision was made just as it is.  Many are not happy at where they are, what they are into and many more. This issue or situation is highly experienced in Africa. It all starts when a young boy or girl is about to enter into the SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL. Whereby he or she wants to read General Arts but his parents or guardian insist he or she offers General Science which they normally speak out of experience and their comfort zones based on what they are seeing or let say one of the parents is a doctor therefore he or she sees the need for the ward to read or offer a program which at the end of the day sometimes ends up in something the ward never thought off.  This issue is really taking place whereby solution to it is very difficult to come by just because th…

Samsung boss arrested in South Korea’s explosive corruption scandal

Samsung’s de facto head, Lee Jae-yong, was arrested in Seoul on Friday morning on charges of bribery over his alleged role in an explosive corruption scandal that has riveted South Korea.
The 48-year-old heir apparent to the Samsung empire was taken into custody after the courts, which had rejected a special prosecutor’s first request, granted a second request to issue a warrant for his detention.
